Really great lunch deal ($26 for fried tempura shrimp and potato, ox bone soup, salad, two slices of gimbap with fresh fish, and your choice of entree ranging from noodle dishes to bibimbap) and oysters for $1.50 each during happy hour (12-3pm I believe). I loved the kimchi udon and gimbap - the only issue was the wait time for our dishes. It took over an hour for the lunch deal portion to arrive after our oysters - it seemed that they forgot our order after a large party of 10...
The host/manager possibly owner was very friendly and accommodating. WE had drinks and appetizers. He personally made me his version of Penicillin. Was delicious! My friend didn't care for her Mosvow Mule- they substituted the ginger beer, so he replaced her drink. Chicken wings and empanadas were good but portions were truly small for sharing. Soft shell crab was crispy.
Outside of my oysters (very fresh & delish) nothing seemed worth re ordering unfortunately. The soju happy hr drink wasn’t good and was pretty weak. I can’t imagine visiting again only bc there’s so many better restaurants in the city.
