Are the drinks a little overpriced? Probably ($34 for a small pitcher of beer). But I guess it comes with the territory and atmosphere. This place can get super popping on the weekends. They have 2 good sized beer pong tables and 4 electronic darts in the back. Music is super chill and loud.

Cute dive bar with interesting cocacola door. One Asian male bartender really helpful and attentive

I like this speakeasy. They don't take themselves to serious. Good games , drinks, and cocktails.

They let underage girls in this establishment. Do not go here, you never know if you are talking to a child. The bouncers hit on children and are inappropriate when asking for tickets. They do not ID here. Which is exactly why I left. Do not go here!!

Honestly the basement has always been a nickname for me and my friends gathering spots. It was nice to see it being made into an established place to enjoy festivities.

Went here for a drink at 5pm on a Friday. Loved the old school CocaCola vending machine entrance. Inside there was plenty of seating available and it had a nice atmosphere. My friend and I ordered two gin based drinks and they were both delicious. They've got some darts, beer pong, and some games in the back. We didn't play any, but it would definitely be fun with a few friends. I enjoyed it, would def go back

A fun and relaxing place to catch up with friends. There was different beer pong games going on. People were generally friendly and I played with someone for awhile. I might go again if in the area. The best part was there was a popcorn machine with kettle corn!

This is a very cool speakeasy in NYC. I got a mojito and it was easily the best and most expensive one I have ever had in my life. The vibes were very relaxing and chill. I would recommend but expect to pay a lot per drink.

Got their draft sour beer. Loved it. Friendly staff. Free beer bing tables! Quirky niche indie music.

I used to really like Basement when it first opened--it was a cool speakeasy, with a popcorn machine and darts, which made it a fun, laid-back spot. Unfortunately, it's gone downhill over time. On my last few visits, the place felt unkempt, with sticky floors and tables. The service has become painfully slow--it takes forever to order drinks, and even longer to get them. It's lost its charm and now feels more trashy than trendy. The crowd is different. It's just not the vibe anymore. I wouldn't recommend it.

Basement bar was a great time with great people and new friends. The bar tenders Michael and Ched were the coolest dudes we ever met, and we were all jamming to the songs they were playing. A little on the pricier side, but worth it. Played some pong and darts, which the bar provides the pong balls and darts upon request. They were playing alternative rock when we were there, but not sure if that’s the vibe 24/7.
