A popular store in Koreatown. I used it for lunch. I especially like the fish that always comes as a side dish. The rice is cooked in a small stone pot and served directly to you. I like burnt food, so I requested a stone pot to be placed on the table and filled with water. I also ordered a second side dish. It was delicious again this time!
Any restaurant that serves Fried Fish as their banchan automatically earns a 5-star review from me.

Their tofu soup warms your soul, especially in the NY winter.

Expect long queue during meal times.
this place is great for late night warm meals. its usually pretty busy but there are a lot of seats so little to no wait time. the tofu soup comes with an egg and banchan (side dishes) the side dishes are usually good (mashed potatoes, kimchi, beans, spicy cucumber) but wont blow you away

the soups are also good but mild is a bit too mild - they need to make a level between mild and medium lol. definitely get medium for more flavor bc mild is very plain, but...
