Just ok. Overpriced, weird New York post and politically conservative decor.

Best authentic UES cafe remaining…always a treat and a great dining experience tindoors or outdoors…..great menu including the best hamburgers and cottage fries…wait staff always warm and friendly…..dave the owner there most of the time to greet and chat with guests…all in all a treasure for lunch, weekend brunch or dinner and especially soli diner friendly too…

I found it very disappointing that the turkey burger I ordered was not tasty and very dry. Then I ordered a hamburger instead. Dry and a total bummer. It not satisfying or tasty at all. Very disappointing casual dining experience.
Beach cafe has a nice bar and casual vibe that’s pleasant but don’t waste your time or money ordering a turkey burger or a hamburger !!!!
It was poor quality meat and tasted awful.

I really enjoyed my brunch at Beach cafe! I got the burger, fries and a Diet Coke! The atmosphere was lots of fun and good service! Will definitely be back.

The thick burger is really juicy and tasty. So glad to have this UES gem. The service is very inviting and the staff is friendly. Will definitely come back often.

This place is it! The bacon burger is a must! The turkey burger was enjoyed by my wife who never finished her meals...she ate every bite. And the fries are fantastic! We will be coming back to try other items on the menu. The server was welcoming and attentive. If we lived in this neighborhood we'd be here every night.

If I could give zero stars I would. Food was terrible, and the service was even worse. The person I went with for food poisoning.

We had lunch here Friday, August 23. I had the French dip, and it was a piece of fat on a soggy role. Truly, the worst sandwich of my life, and pricey. Service was mediocre, and eating outside the noise was terrible. Don't waste your time or money.

Beach Cafe is an absolute gem on the Upper East Side. We stopped by for burgers and cottage fries, and both were fantastic. The fries were crispy and delicious, just the way I like them. The burgers were perfectly cooked and juicy, hitting the spot perfectly. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the main course and the sides so well, but Beach Cafe does it with ease.

The wait staff were friendly and efficient, making sure we had everything we needed without being overbearing. They were attentive but also gave us space to enjoy our meal. It’s clear that the team here knows how to balance great service with a relaxed dining experience.

The atmosphere at Beach Cafe is warm and inviting, with a cozy vibe that makes you feel right at home. It’s easy to see why this place has such a loyal following. The decor is charming, and there’s a welcoming feel as soon as you walk in. It’s the kind of place where you can unwind and enjoy good food in good company.

Whether you’re looking for a great meal or just a place to relax with friends, Beach Cafe is a top choice. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a reliable spot with great food and friendly service on the Upper East Side.

This cafe is very casual but not kid friendly. No high chairs, kids menus, we were asked not to drive our stroller into the restaurant because they had “just cleaned the floors” and we were seated in the back corner. Our family didn’t feel welcome and the nachos were mediocre.
