Was not the same restaurant we went to several years ago. Food was adequate, service was good. Place was fairly empty. Too many choices for breakfast in this city to have to settle for adequate.
Had a great breakfast with family at Beach Cafe. The pancake is amazing, very close to Golden Diner quality without the 2 hour wait. Eggs were cooked perfectly, coffee was dark and rich, potato pancake crispy and delicious. Definitely worth the visit. We will return for sure!
Freaking love this place. Open late-night, dimly lit eclectic decor, good music, superb Chicken Milanese, Burger/Cottage Fries, excellent service, classic UES neighborhood spot. 10/10
