The service was top-notch—special shoutout to Preston, the GM, who made us feel so welcome and ensured everything was flawless. We loved the live music at the bar. This restaurant is a hidden gem! The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between cozy and upscale, and the food is nothing short of fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. But what truly sets this place apart is the manager, Preston. His energy is unmatched; he goes above and beyond to make every guest feel like a VIP. Whether it’s recommending the perfect dish or just ensuring everything runs smoothly, Preston is the heart and soul of this spot. Can’t wait to come back!

The food and presentation is exceptional. What made our experience so special was when we met the GM Preston. My friends and I were celebrating a birthday and he made it extra special for us. He could use some work on his singing but definitely gave us a few laughs! Thank you for making it a night for the books!

I celebrated my birthday at Beefbar in Tribeca last night, and it was absolutely epic! From start to finish, everything was phenomenal. We started with the Wagyu quesadilla, which was packed with flavor—perfectly cheesy and just the right amount of spice. The Wagyu pasta was exceptional, rich and flavorful, and the highlight of the night was definitely the American Wagyu ribeye—tender, juicy, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. The atmosphere and service were top-notch, making for a perfect evening. Highly recommend Beefbar for anyone looking for an unforgettable dining experience!

Took my bf here for his 44th birthday. Thought it would be a special treat. Although the service was excellent (apologies- I can’t remember his name), I felt the food was a little disappointing, especially given the price point.
The wontons lacked flavor, the bao buns were super dry and bland, and the Caesar was delicious but way over dressed. Gobs of dressing. The spicy tuna roll was bright and delicious and ended up being my favorite thing we ate but also didn’t feel that new to me. The filet steak came out borderline room temperature. The flavor was delicious but the temp was off and it threw me. We also ordered the wagyu bolognese which was served less than room temp. I’m sorry, but for a $55 pasta I felt that wasn’t acceptable.
We were also seating near the entryway which felt more like a foyer with heavy foot traffic. I would have probably enjoyed a table deeper into the restaurant. We were also seated directly under an AC which was blowing on us pretty hard. I have a feeling that contributed to the food being so cold so fast.
They brought us a complimentary desert which was a nice touch, and it was delicious. It’s a lovely restaurant, but I did leave feeling little disappointed paying $330 for what we got. Not sure I’d return.

The food was okay, BUT for the price of the steaks, absolutely NOT worth it. If you charge twice as much as just about every other steakhouse, it needed to be perfection. It wasn’t. Medium rare ribeye was dry and tough, under seasoned, lacking salt. Steak was brought out warm, not sizzling hot or hot. Staff mixed up our steaks with medium rare and rare. We switched it ourselves. Wait staff was not experienced as they didn’t ask how our steak was. Again, some of this is small, but for the price, even the small details are a must!

Our biggest dining letdown of 2024.
We came here based on a positive review on Seed Oil Scout and called a month in advance to confirm that they would be able to accommodate a seed oil free dietary need.
We found out upon being seated that basically the only things they could serve us were their beef bacon appetizer and their steak entrees.
We generally do not like ordering steak in restaurants because, frankly, it's not hard to do a better job cooking it at home than what you're like to get in a restaurant. We have our beef at home raised and cut to our specification by local farmers, so the idea of paying $100-500 for a lesser cut in a restaurant just isn't a good value proposition for us.
The waiter told us that the beef tallow in their fryer is cut with canola oil, so we couldn't even eat the "beef tallow" fries.
We had a round of drinks and the beef bacon appetizer, but decided to go elsewhere for our main course.
The waitress was skilled and the ambiance was great, but none of that matters in our case.
Dietary restrictions: Our waiter told us that the beef tallow in the fryer is cut with seed oils, so stay away if you maintain a seed oils free diet.
