Don’t bother reserving a table for Tuesday or Wednesday as they aren’t open and don’t make you aware enough

Went for my birthday meal while staying in New York all the way form England. Have to say our experience wasn’t far from appalling. When we arrived we were seated in what can only be described as a hallway. We asked to move and that was fine. Then it came to ordering. Using a QR code as a menu. Finally we ordered after waiting some time. Our starters came before our drinks. Then our mains came before our starters were even cleared and a very rude waiter responded to this situation “oh I’ll just take your meal back then”. The mains well my mother’s was fine I had the burger, it was cold and honestly odd tasting. Make me feel quite sick. Not once during the meal were we checked on, if we had been we would have complained then and there. Finally comes to paying the bill. We were very unhappy with our time and so we asked for the gratuity of 18% to be taken off. Our server then refused to do this and responded that if she was to take it off we would be stealing. Never in my life have I been spoken to so badly by a member of hospitality. Overall the vibe of the place is nothing like described, certainly not a $200 facility, more like a dodgy children’s birthday party. So extremely disappointed and honestly feel my moneys been sadly waisted. Would not recommend.

Food was ok. Max & cheese was great. Burger meh, cake good. I had a minty margarita very good. You pay for the atmosphere. Performers were excellent. So friendly and great voices. I was really impressed with that. When all is said and done tax, tip, expect to pay $90 pp.

Went here with my husband for our 10th anniversary.
We had made reservations in advance for 830pm. I got texts 2 weeks and 1 day in advance to remind me and confirm my reservation, which I appreciated.
A few hours before, I got a text letting me know they had earlier availability which I also appreciated.
The hostess was dressed as Wednesday Addams, and the decor was fantastic. The space was small, which was fine. But we were seated along the wall, so that one of us would have to sit with our back towards the entertainment.
The food:
Braised Pork Belly with Grits: the pork belly was melt in your mouth and perfectly seasoned. The grits were okay, but a bit watery and loose.
Mac and cheese appetizer: a good Mac and cheese. Nothing special
Bolegnese: lacked flavor, ground beef tasted unseasoned. Noodles were cooked well. Which is the best that could be said for it.
Sweeny Beef: I ordered it medium rare, and it was overcooked. Very disappointing in a filet mignon. I would not recommend this dish to anyone who does not like balsamic vinegar and acidic dishes.
The potatoes were forgettable.
Dessert: was honestly the redeeming factor in this meal. Emily's wedding cake melted in my mouth. It was easily among the best desserts I have ever had in my life. The cake was light and airy and the curd was tangy and sweet.
The vegan elderberry tart was also delicious. You don't miss the non vegan elements such as cream and butter in this dish. And the sorbet it was served with was beautiful and delicious.
There were a total of 4 performances over the 2 hour meal period. While I appreciate that there were breaks for conversation, I had expected more than the approx 20 minutes of entertainment.
I was curious about the experience, and now I know. I would not go again and I would not reccomend it to anyone

So I went there on valentines day.
Good things:
1. Great great ambience!
2. the actors were nice - the way they interacted
3. The service was good, the staff was kind.
What i didn't like:
1. The charcuterie was so bad, you could've gotten it from whole foods and it would be better. The presenation was below avg. as well.
2. My valentine left one dish in the four course meal without touching it. (they were kind enough to remove -$25 off for that)
3. The performances were too short & their voices weren't clear cuz of the microphone amplitude.
4. Definitely not worth 200$ for 2 people!
If this were 65$ per person, it would make sense given the quality of food. I can go to Michelin star restaurants for $200.
Overall, the food was monumentally disappointing for its price, the staff & ambience was good.

i love tim burton and i appreciate what they try to do with them bringing life in with the characters of popular tim burton films but the service is not efficient and the restaurant is extremely cramped. Not much space and if it’s crowded , it is pointless to stay much longer. the menu isn’t good and has very limited options. Overall, pretty overrated and i say it with love

We decided to visit this place for the show. We were not lucky enough. The presentation was boring and actors (two characters Bob and scissorhands) were boring and lazy to come to each table (only five tables were occupied). They even didn’t come to birthday tables. I will never come to celebrate birthday with my child here. I will say the picture of birthday was even sad. No attention, no gift ( not even small piece of cake for free). The waitress short woman should be more nice to the people and specially it was not a lot of them. Come on, seriously you charged automatically 18% and doesn’t matter how many people plus tax plus additional $7 for steak … for what??? No show, no service. The food was not bad, but portion is small except the burger with French fries.Waste of money and time. If you want to have nice time don’t go over there, this place is boring and people who work over there are not happy you are coming!.

The place was great and so was the food. But if you intend to go here...please look at your bill. My server put the tip in twice. When I called restaurant the day after becuase I looked at receipt. They said that it is found on the website that tip will be included. I did not see anything on website regarding this. When you go to eat there please check your bill before leaving.
This was our second time to visit Beetle House and we brought our kids. This time was nothing like our first visit, as there were only two characters vs the 5-6 we experienced last time. There was minimal interaction and our server seemed a bit bored. You pay for the show and the ambiance here as a burger is not worth $65. We had different dishes and all were pretty good. The steak is the best but is a $7 up charge. We really didn't feel it was worth the price paid this time and probably won't return. If the characters are there it's a ton of fun, maybe going later in the evening is better.

Lovely drinks. But we were double charged on gratuity. I was not shown the itemized bill and was not told gratuity was included. The toast tablet was handed to me with 18% chosen and I was under the assumption that it was the only tip on the bill. After reviewing the bill I had sent to my phone after leaving it became apparent we were charged for tip twice. Note that they include the tip on your bill and will not tell you. Review your bill before paying. Lesson learned for me, but I’d hope the establishment would be honest about their charges up front.
Very Tim Burton-esk. Everyone was friendly. They have a beetle juice and Bob can asking around interacting with people. Worth to stop by for a drink but I wouldn’t stay and hang around. This place is probably fun for young kids late at night
