Fell into this cafe and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent coffee, nice selection of sandwiches and delicious looking pastries!
Friendly (and efficient) service (despite the high demand). Comfortable seating inside & outside. Warmly recommended!

Nice espresso and good staff, very quick service too, in and out within 2 minutes. Good atmosphere as the dimmed lighting makes the cafe feel warm. Solid prices for cafe considering the typical Manhattan prices for coffee/espresso

Staff is friendly but prices are absurd. They needs to come down in price point 10-20%
Very good coffee, great service

Cutest corner coffee shop on Lex. Has the perfect upper East charm. Has some nice decor.
If you are in the area definitely add this on the list. It’s nestled in the quaint corner, has outdoor seating too.
The pastries are fresh and lots of packed snacks are also available. I recommend the cheddar chive biscuits and pain au chocolat. The mini croissant are the cutest

I used to really enjoy coming to Bel Ami Café, but unfortunately, this last visit was quite disappointing. I ordered a couple of cappuccinos, and they were nothing like a proper cappuccino. I also tried a few of the mini cookies, but they had a strange taste almost like detergent or even mold, which was very unpleasant.
To make things worse, the person at the counter had no idea about the ingredients in the products. I asked about the muffins, and he said “I don’t know” several times. It’s really unfortunate, especially since I used to be a frequent customer.
I strongly recommend reviewing the handling and freshness of your products, and it would really help to properly train your staff on what you’re serving.

Very dry industrial croissant, mediocre bitter iced coffee, but service was friendly and quick!

Out on a long walk around the upper east side. After lunch further uptown, I passed by Bel Ami and decided to go in. Last came here about 6 months ago. Today the weather was sunny and warm so this place was very busy, both inside and out. Stood in line 10 minutes to order but then got a hot chocolate and a chocolate muffin. Then another 5 minutes to find a table, inside.
Staff were very friendly and efficient. Nice vibe. Will come again.
Back again on a very hot day. Again very busy. No tables outside but grabbed a small table inside. Today decaf americano and a walnut muffin. Both excellent.
