If anyone know how to get ahold of anyone at Bella Vita please tell them how sad I am they are closed... Themio was the best! And Audrey our favorite server! So sad to come to NYC and see that it has closed it became my favorite restaurant because of the staff and the great food... we miss you! K & b from seattle

Not a friendly, family environment. I was “accidentally” overcharged. I caught it, and staff seemed to fuss fixing the error. probably

Place is closed (10/26/19) Window is papered up and awning covered. You can't even tell what it was.

Great pizza but one of the workers was really anoying and got mad at us for being in line and got even more mad when we tried to leave the line. "Get in line if you still need to order but also your disturbing the guest at the table so get out of line but also get in line to order". Beside the one lady everything was great and easy.

We ate here twice during our recent NYC trip. It was close to our hotel, and the wait was not long either time. The restaurant is very small.

If you want a slice you are sitting at the counter looking out to the street. Get yourself a whole pie. They serve thin crust pies. One of the best pizzeria joint in Times Square. I'm not a tourist as I work in the area and know good pizza. We are usually a party of four for lunch and we get 1 large pie, the large arugula salad and a single pasta entree. Works for us. If you like Strombolis you should try the sausage and pepperoni one. If we are really hungry we'll add that and scrap the salad. Of course we regret it in the end and try to get though the rest of the day with a food coma.

We went here twice on our trip to NYC. The second time was to verify it was as delicious as we thought the first time! I'm a picky eater and both times we each had spaghetti and meatball dinners and split a large pizza. Absolutely fantastic! Very busy, but wait time was less than 5 minutes. Staff is extremely friendly and the service is great. Not to mention its steps from Times Square and the prices are very reasonable.

An amazing Italian pizza in a small venue off Times Square. It was a bit of a wait for a table since the place is rather small, but the wait was worth it for the amazing pie! A huge 20" pizza that was of the best pizzas I've ever had. Ordered half as margherita and the other half as pepperoni and mushroom. I would have given a full 5 stars, but the Italian salad unfortunately wasn't anything special. Stick with the pizza and you won't be disappointed!

HORRIBLE! My friend and I went to NY for the first time and tried this restaurant for our first night. We were supposed to dine in HardRock Cafe but the line was too long, so had no choice but to look for alternative. As soon as we sat in our table, the lady server was totally rude! My friend and I works in hospitality industry so we understand how hard it is to work in the industry but THIS IS ABSOLUTELY THE WORST RESTAURANT EVER. There were also some customers who were also complaining about the service. WORST DINING EXPERIENCE I'VE EVER HAD. Also, they wrote the tip on their own without asking us. No refill of water. We weren't even asked if how was the food. If you are a tourist in NY, DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. SERIOUSLY. We ordered 2 pasta dish and a pizza and we paid $93! Save your money for something better.

Pizza was good. 2 stars for that. Service? I'm all for tipping I am a server myself at a tourist restaurant but If you're going to write in your own tip on a 2 top make sure you give actual service and don't just drop off the food and keep our cups empty!!

Great atmosphere, nice sit down especially in Times Square area. Family size portions. We will visit when we go back to New York.

Bella Vita is a New York institution for pizza. Go in for a slice to go or stay for a sit down meal. They are quick, the people are what you expect for NY and the pizza is good. Give it a shot

Sept 3. Late in the evening. we are seated immediately. We choose the small pizza and add 3 toppings. Excellent and plenty for the 2 of us. I would definitely go back and eat there again.

Ordered a large pizza with peppers and olives. Came with fresh basil and a nice purée. The pizza is huge! Was enough for three people quite easily. The restaurant has flags from different countries. I like the change in atmosphere compared to other Italian restaurants. Set up in the busy area of Times Square it's always crowded with locals and tourists. The tables are kept quite close to accommodate the constant influx of people making it a little inconvenient sometimes.

Excellent thin crust pizza but you are not welcome to sit if you are just getting slices. Tables are only for patrons spending a lot of money.
