Great midtown spot - on a quieter block - for a classic French bistro experience. Ideal for small, intimate get togethers or larger groups. Attentive service, well prepared food and a lively tempo.

Has been top notch since opening. The chicken for two, pommefrittes & profiteroles never miss but everything on the menu is excellent. We had the cod last night and it was prepared and presented as well as his places in Monaco, Paris or London.

This is one of my favorite places near the theater district. It's elegant, the food is superb, service always warm and attentive. It was quiet on a Saturday when we came for lunch. We each started with onion soup, which was piping hot, richly flavored and with plenty of cheese. Then I had a croque madame, my friend had a salad. We were both very pleased. The wine-by-the-glass list is short, but has a good variety, including one of my top picks, gruner veltliner. Next time...
