So delicious! The cabbage was seasoned with a type of mustard oil and very flavorful. The injera was the perfect texture, not too dry. The different veggies were all cooked with different spices so each one had a unique taste! The Ethiopian tea was also so warm and flavorful. 10/10

My favorite spot for habesha food! The siga wat is delicious and the mesir and shiro wat are perfectly spiced, you cant go wrong with anything on the menu here, although I get the same order almost every time, the food is consistently good. The family that owns the restaurant are also all lovely and provide friendly kind service. Love this place!!!

The pleasant surprise of this place made my whole day better. The staff trainer here clearly knows what they're doing. The staff performs dependably. The portions fill you up, the preparation is exact, and flavors satisfy. Others should try this spot.

Just had the most amazing meal at Benyam Ethiopian Restaurant in Harlem. Seriously, this place is a hidden gem. The food was out of this world – so flavorful and authentic, definitely the best Ethiopian food I've had in the city. The vibe was super chill and welcoming, and our waiter was awesome. He even gave us a cool little lesson on Ethiopian coffee, which was a nice touch. If you're looking for a low-key spot with incredible food and good vibes, Benyam is a must-try.

What a lovely experience! The restaurant has such a cozy vibe, and the staff were incredibly welcoming from the moment we walked in. We were lucky to get a table — almost every one was reserved, which says a lot! The interior is warm and inviting, with little touches that let you learn more about Ethiopian culture. And the food… absolutely delicious! Every dish was full of rich flavors and clearly made with care. Can’t wait to come back!
