Decent, nothing new or great. One time visit at best
Quiet ambience enough for a conversation
Nice service
Food was just alright, the steak was rather room temp / cold so it kinda ruined the taste esp with the fat

The food was great but not a big variety. Mostly everything has tapioca and it’s basic .. expect to spend over $150. The service was outstanding and the drinks 10/10.

I am writing to hopefully reach the owners . I have been a client for many years . Because I have young kids usually I order online . The food has always been a bit hit and miss, some dishes are great , some not so much so I avoid them . But since I know what I like I get it quite often .
However the portions have been getting smaller and smaller . I noticed this before , but I thought it was coincidence, but today it proves it is not . Often order feijoada , bobo and strogonoff. The feijoada used ro be enough for two people. Now is barely enough for one . The rice is less than half of what it used to be, the feijoada itself is very little , a big rib (which is most bone) and very few of anything else , including the beans . The bobo , honestly , wasn’t enough for me alone (and it used to be a good portion ).
I wonder if if it is deliberate as a strategy not to increase prices as much in a high inflation environment. But this doesn’t make much sense because the actual food cost tends not to be huge on a restaurant, specially things like beans and rice . Anyway disappointing.
And their old competitors , Casa are back . Casa is definitely more expensive , but have more generous portions .
So, I do hope they revert back . Again , I am someone who used to order 2x times a month or so , so pretty frequent client .

I came to this restaurant over the weekend and had such a lovely experience. We were walk ins and were seated relatively quickly. The host was kind and even accommodating to our request to a different table. The server was attentive but not overbearing. The food was amazing!! We got the cheesy bread and fries as appetizers and almost got too full for the main. For the main I got the avocado toast and my husband got the omelette. Both were delicious! The sourdough toss was delish and the things accompanying the avocado toast were well balanced!
Overall I had a great experience and ate delish food!
Dietary restrictions: My husband has celiacs disease and we were able to find multiple things for him to eat

We stopped by during the happy hours on a weekday, enough selections on the menu.
I really wanna like this place but their services made us feel not really comfortable.
They were promoting a certain cocktail that day which was on the house. My friend ordered it, and a staff came with the drink, asking to take a photo of my friend with the drink as a proof? It was fine but it would be nicer to inform at the very beginning when customers are ordering.
Cheese bread was good but on the soft side. However the pulled pork came as the side was delicious!
Corn mousse was unique but it had an oily smell and taste.

This is a cute local spot. I wouldn’t travel for it, but if you live in the area it is fun to check j out. It’s small and on the more intimate side. They have delicious Brazilian food, but unfortunately not a lot of healthy options. We got the only salad on the menu and it was drenched in dressing.

Several of the things we ate were delicious and others really not great. I'm giving it 4 stars because the things that were good were very good. Like the cheese bread was the best I've had. And the fried yucca etc. The place is cozy and beautiful. We just didn't like a few of our dishes. Service was lovely.

Today, I visited a Brazilian restaurant in Manhattan for the first time to try their feijoada. The ambiance was very pleasant, the food was delicious, and the welcome was warm. However, I was quite disappointed with the service from one of the waitresses, Natasha. It felt like she judged us based on certain prejudices, like our appearance and color, and she treated us rudely and unprofessionally. When we asked about menu options, she dismissed us and told us to just read the menu, showing no willingness to help or explain anything.
On the other hand, Yasmin, the waitress who eventually took over our table, was wonderful! She was kind and informative, telling us all about the restaurant and the lunch specials during the week, showing a level of professionalism and respect that really made a difference.
Unfortunately, this experience with Natasha left me quite disappointed. I work with many clients and students in the area and love to recommend good places, but with this kind of service, it’s hard to endorse the restaurant. Yasmin truly saved our experience, and I hope the restaurant’s staff can reflect the same quality of service she provided.

If you are missing Brazil or wanna enjoy a brazilian food, this is the place! We got "Feijoada" for lunch, and "coxinha", and it was the best brazilian food we ate in NYC. The price is good and the service is awesome. I forgot a bag there and they help me to send it back to my home, so the team was great with us. Also you can drink a beer in a "copo americano", so this warmed my heart and I felt I was in Brazil enjoying good food and a very cold beer. We cant wait to come back soon!

I really enjoyed their vegan feijoada. Their happy hour drinks are amazing and extremely strong. I really enjoyed the pastel, it was a bit too oily for me personally but the flavor and the dressing sauce it came with was just amazing. The feijoada is enough for two meals and would highly recommend. The only downside was 3ish% charge on credit card and if you’re planning to roam around in new york make sure to store the feijoada since it is liquidy the cardboard container go bad and might leak.
