What happened? Last year, my fav hot Honey Nanban chicken go to lunch sando used to have a fresh bun (see pic). It was so jam-packed with flavorful ingredients. I've been back only to find the chicken flavor profile has gone downhill, and a packaged, processed martins bun was replacing the fresh brioche ..ugh! Bring back the original recipe, please! Their foods surpassed my expectations. I expected fast food-grade quality, such as salty, greasy fried foods. No! They were actually, legitimately delicious. The fried rice was crispy and the scallops and shrimps on top with sauce amazingly enhanced each other’s flavor. The chicken karaage was crispy outside and tender inside, and moderately salty. I enjoyed dining near the water.

Dropped in here on my last visit to New York and fell in love with their “Japanese” fried chicken! Amazingly juicy, tender and crisp. We also loved the sashimi crispy rice and the view here is outstanding.
