I’m so sorry, but my matcha was so chalky that it was undrinkable.
Our friends set us up with awesome expectations but we couldn’t eat or drink what we left with.

Such a cute bakery! But there's very limited seating, we had to wait for people to leave before finding a place to set our things down. It was pretty busy and not that well maintained, the trash was overflowing. I ordered the iced matcha jasmine latte and earl grey cream puff. The cream puffs and drinks were reasonably priced. I usually don't like cream puffs, but these weren't too sweet and the top has a nice crunchy texture. I really like the matcha latte, I didn't even need to adjust the sweetness level it was already perfect and you can really taste the jasmine. I wanted to try the tarts but they were pretty expensive, around $10 for a small piece but I guess that's to be expected for the craftsmanship that goes into them. I'm not sure if I would go out of my way for this since there are many similar bakeries in NY but it is conveniently located near Times square.

It sounds like you’re writing a review! Here’s a refined version with a smoother flow:
This place is super unique and cute, especially when it comes to the pastries. There’s a lovely variety of adorable little treats, and while they’re definitely good, some are a bit out of the ordinary. The only reason I’m giving it one star less is the price — it feels a bit steep for what you get. Still, it’s a charming spot with some delightful options!

Too sweet for Asians but probably good for Americans.
The sesame puff had a really strong and nutty sesame flavor, but just too sweet.
The matcha was pretty bad, it ain’t got no real matcha flavor at all, the color of the fillings were so weirdly bright.
The lychee cake was fine.
The only thing i’d come back for is the milk tea cloud cake. Hard on the outside and soft on the inside, with many layers of textures and amazing milk tea flavor.

They’ve got the cutest baked goods, haven’t tried the drinks but the treats are delectable. It’s just very crowded and cramped for my taste, they could really benefit from a bigger space since they’re so popular in the neighborhood.

not sure what all the hype is about ... very cutely decorated and visually appealing, but was disappointed that in the two pastries I tried there was very little flavor and it all just tasted like sugar

Went for quick dessert before catching a 7pm Broadway show at Eugene O'Neill on a Sunday in October - this is just a couple of blocks away. There was a long line and all seats inside were taken. I had the lychee berry (overrated) and the banana pudding. Latter was actually pretty nice.
Went again right after an afternoon Broadway show the last weekend of January, and had the pistachio milk chocolate which was a nice refreshing hot drink.

Subpar food and drink
Cream puffs are great. Not happy with coffee and the coffee maker. The coffee was leaking from the bottom of the cup. When we went back and asked for changing a cup, the coffee maker (young girl) ignored us multiple times until a guy (from the kitchen) noticed us and helped us out.

Cute little spot with fun pastries. I liked the cream puff, but didn’t love it. I think it’s just not for me :) but love the vibe!

Staff was lovely! The hot chocolate was yummy and other drinks too! The cloud cake and cream puffs were also very good! Perfect spot to grab a drink and a sweet treat while waiting for the show doors to open for Wicked!

The Rose Lychee tart was good, excepr the macarons. Didnt like the earl gray cream puff. The dessertts a bit too sweet and not balanced with actual flavor of the dessert.
