For those of us who love Halal food we are always looking for that mysterious exotic aromatic flavor that rocked our souls and stole our hearts. For me the perfect platter of halal food, be it rice or lamb over rice, has to have that perfect balance of meat to rice ratio. The right seasons and spices are used . Are there any sides such as vegetables or pickles provided. Big Boss plate of combination over rice checked most of those boxes for me. If I’m in Lenox hill the Big Boss truck is certainly one
Of my top voices of truck food.

Food is just OK. Tried this place because I wanted to see what this place had to offer compared to the 2 food trucks right outside MSK. It was a disappointment, food was bland and had no charging on the meat. Given the choices nearby, and considering Twins Halal is there 24x7, I see no reason to go here again.

I got the chicken over rice bowl, really great. Nice lil side salad included. $9.
I like this cart better than the one across the street in the square called Redal or something. Food is fresher and portions larger. The dude was also rlly friendly and nice, which was refreshing cuz I’d be grumpy AF in this +90° weather.

Great halal food. My go to spot. You get a ton of food for a very reasonable price. The chicken and lamb are both tender and you get a nice mix of veggies that you won’t see at other carts. The two guys running the cart are also the best. I always ask for extra meat and it’s like a dollar extra charge.

Food was good. Would recommend this location if in the area. Total was about $10 or so for a mixed combo over rice and a side of veggies.

Chicken over rice or Lamb over rice is $9 each. Soda/water is $1. Menu prices are not listed on the cart, so I feel that may be deceiving to some. Service is fast. Food was good.

Rice is cold, lamb tastes like it was marinated in BBQ sauce (I think he cooks with it). Even the red sauce tastes like BBQ sauce
I have been going around halal carts that are Egyptian, Moroccan, and Lebanese. By far the best one in my opinion is Faisal's Cart.He actually packs it with proper nutrients and doesn't douse it in oil which is very rare for a halal cart. I honestly frequent this cart, as a guy who would rarely eat out due to worries about the quality of the food that's being used. For this cart, it's not a concern and I'd highly recommend this cart 100% possibly the only cart you'll ever see that can serve you broccoli and actual real vegetables!
