The pizza here is just phenomenal. I think this may be my new absolute favorite NY pizzeria. We had their Roman style rectangular pizza with several different toppings. This is a very crunchy style of pizza which is about half inch thick but very light and crispy. The crust was absolutely amazing, thanks to a very high hydration dough (I asked the server). It was airy, light, crunchy, salty. This may have been the best crust I’ve ever had. And the toppings were all excellent, from nduja and zucchini to the plain Margherita. I cannot recommend this place enough!

Everything was perfect. The cabernet was delicious. We ordered 4 different personal pizzas and shared them. Each on was delicious. They had nice music as well. Will definently return.

Absolutely the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Came for my fiancés 30th birthday with 20 people. Reservation was at 8, didn’t get seated until 9, and the food took another 2 hours. We did the pizza omakase, and it took over an hour to get a piece of bread as an appetizer. Absolutely overhyped do not come here.

Absolutely unacceptable experience.
We had a reservation for 22 people at 8:00 PM, and not only were we kept waiting for 40 minutes past our reservation time with no clear communication, but once seated, things only got worse.

It took over TWO HOURS for a single meal to arrive—and that wasn’t even for the whole table. We sat there, hungry and frustrated, as time dragged on with no sense of urgency from the staff. To make matters worse, the employees were rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional, treating our group like we were an inconvenience rather than paying customers.

If you’re considering this place for a large group or even a simple dinner out, save yourself the headache and go literally anywhere else. They are clearly incapable of managing reservations, basic hospitality, or even simple human decency.

One star is generous.

Went here for a date night with my wife and had a great time! The vibe was definitely cool — hip music playing, a cozy but lively atmosphere, and overall a fun energy.

We went with the pizza omakase, both the vegetarian and non-vegetarian versions, plus the wine pairings. Service was excellent — friendly and on point without being overbearing. The food was good, but if I'm being honest, it leaned a little gimmicky — more like fancy breadsticks with toppings than actual pizza. (And coming from NYC pizza snobs, that's saying something.)

We were still hungry after the tasting menu, so we ended up ordering a pepperoni pie, which was probably the most traditional and satisfying thing we had all night. All in, with the wine pairings, the extra pie, and tip, the bill came out to $321 for two people — a bit steep for something that felt more playful than filling.

Would we go back? Maybe for a fun night out when we're in the mood for something different — just with slightly more realistic expectations (and maybe a snack beforehand).

We had a date for two. We arrived around 5 pm with no reservation made but it is highly recommended to make a reservation beforehand since the place is always booked up. We ordered a pepperoni burrata spicy honey pizza and a Pepperoni pizza. The flavor of this pizza is fantastic the combination of crunchy and juice at the same time is overwhelming. I really liked the combination of ingredients I chose, also the tomato sauce feels so organic and natural. I really enjoyed my pizza. The service was also great. The place feels so cozy as well. I recommend trying this pizza.

Unfriendly, unreasonable owner and terrible food. Have never been treated so disrespectfully in New York City. Unaccommodating owner and overpriced pizza that was not even good.

We recently had our engagement party at Biga Bite and it was AMAZING -- not only was service quick, but the ambiance was PERFECT. Plus, the restaurant was so sweet about us bringing in a little decor to make the place the perfect vibe. Highly recommend coming with a big group for the 4 to 8 foot pizzas!

We came here after a comedy show nearby. The duck breast and butternut squash pizza was delicious. And we really liked the ambiance, and the wine.

I came across an Instagram ad about this restaurant and immediately liked it. I made reservations at Biga Bite for an evening out with my mom, my friend, and my friend’s mom. Left my card on file and confirmed the day before. My mom and I were so excited about our dinner plans - we even went shopping for our dinner date outfits!

Unfortunately, my six month old baby started puking (food allergy reaction) and he wasn’t keeping anything down. Our nurse on call suggested ER if it continues due to dehydration, so naturally I called to explain the situation and cancel. Our reservation was for 8:30pm, and I called at 4:30pm to let the restaurant know about this unforeseen issue.

The owner proceeds to charge me $100 for a late cancellation despite me explaining that I need to monitor my sick child and potentially go to the ER with him. We apparently spoke to the owner - Giovanni Barbieri.
I’m in shock and disgusted. I know policies are protecting every business, but as a business owner myself- I would never be this heartless. It’s less about the money and more about the complete lack of empathy.

A health emergency with a young child should have been met with compassion, not greed. But apparently, their “policy” is more important than basic human decency. It’s clear they care more about making a quick buck than being remotely understanding or accommodating during an emergency.

I will never be returning to this place, and I strongly encourage others to avoid them as well if you value kindness and professionalism. If you’re looking for a place that values customers and basic human empathy, this is not it.
