Food was as expected. Great place to get a decently cheap burger in the city. Our server was amazing, very friendly. She got us in and out very quick and was very quick with taking our order and getting refills
I was disappointed after my family's experience at Bill's. The service was very mediocre as the staff were blunt and not very friendly. The washrooms were a complete disaster and had obviously not been cleaned or tended to in some time, with every stall having a wet floor and toilet paper everywhere. The burgers were very good but another member of my party ordered a salad which had very fatty chicken. Overall, we expected more from such a highly reviewed restaurant and would not recommend Bill's as there are so many other great options in NYC.
It was our first time at Bill's Bar and Burger. Positive: I liked the decor and vibe, and our waitress was very friendly. The sweet red chili dressing chicken wings were delicious. (just a little heavy on the dressing...). Fries were good. Negative: My husband's hamburger was soggy. He's not the kind to send items back, so he ate it with a fork. LOL. My root beer float was the worst I've ever had. It had no flavor. (Weird) Worst: The bathrooms were filthy. If I had seen them before I ate, I would not have eaten there. Broken Toilets. They smelled like a subway station bathroom. I take it back. I think these were worse. I wondered why patrons were going out to the bathrooms in Rockerfeller center instead of the bathrooms at the establishments. I ended up doing the same thing. Eewwwwww. You know what they say, if the establishment can't keep their bathrooms clean then........... Will not be returning.
We had an excellent meal! Loved all the burgers and the fries. Our cousins from Germany had the fat cat burger and they said it's the best burger they ever had. Everything was amazing. We walked over after the Easter parade which was great. Thank you for such a great experience, service and food.
We made a last minute reservation on Easter Sunday. Very quick service and the food was very tasty and well-prepared. (The fat cat burger lives up to the hype and the green salad was fresh and delicious.) The only issue: the fans were on full force and we were cold, but didn't say anything because nobody else seemed to be bothered by it.
Food was usual tourist-trap quality. I had the Billy's cheese steak, which was overly salty. It was supposed to be served on a 'hoagie roll', which was more like a dollar store hot dog bun. My husband had the signature cheeseburger, which was just ok. A cheeseburger can be a gastronomic revelation in the right hands, but this was meh at best. The French fries looked fantastic but had zero flavor and tasted like they sat under the warming light too long. Come to think of it, all the food tasted like that. Lastly, the upstairs is huge, seating probably close to 100 people, yet there are only 2 single bathrooms on that level. Save your money and go to Five Guys.
Had reservation and was seated immediately. Waiter was great. Food was served quickly and was excellent.
We had reservation and we didn't even have to wait and an unexpected crowd of 100 people came in....impressive!!! And our waitress was great!!!! Thank you for a great experience

We were told the wait would be 20 minutes and it turned out to be nearly an hour. There was nowhere for my family to wait together comfortably. Despite this, the food ended up being very enjoyable and the waitress was very kind and helpful!

Definitely not comparable to other Bill’s Burger joints. Completely forgettable food. The chocolate shake was ok. The cook can’t tell the difference btw medium and well done. The onion rings side… yuk. Not coming back.

We had dinner at this location and everything went quite well! The food was quite good and came pretty quickly. The service was quick but not pushy. The atmosphere was quite relaxing for being in the middle of NYC. The drinks looked and good and tasted even better. The wait to get in was 5 min or less in the peak of dinner rush. Its interesting that the location splits between two levels creating quite an interesting dynamic vertical feeling. Highly recommend if you are in the area!
Wheelchair accessibility: The first floor is technically accessible but it uses a large revolving door so im not sure how easy that is with a wheel chair. The lower floor seems to only be reachable by stairs or by another entrance from a separate building.
