Been there twice in 1 week, while spending the holidays in NY with my family. The staff is so nice and friendly, and you can really taste authentic American pastries - cupcakes, cheesecake, pies of any kind, brownies and sì much more.
As an Italian, I strongly recommend it!
Ask about the neighborhood discount if you live in Chelsea!
Everything turned out great and the birthday girl was thrilled! The customer service reps at Billy's Bakery Tribeca were so detailed and followed up with me several times to make sure that every detail was met. Thanks again!
Purchased a cake and things were not done as asked for and staff was not helpful. This was my first bad interaction with your team member as had no issues prior. I need to speak to a manger. This was very disappointing. Thank you. Nathan
Got cupcake scraps. It's was just ok good to celebrate belated birthday
Ordered the confetti cake with buttercream frosting. It was the driest cake I’ve ever, ever had. Absolutely terrible and inedible. For the cost extremely disappointing.
Everything is amazing - however they have the best brownie I have had in NYC, not too sweet and not overly chocolaty
Service is always great, If you like super sweet goodies then this is the place for you.

The cupcakes are just o.k. Not only are they tiny, they are also dry. Definitely not worth $5.25 a cupcake. Which is a shame because 15 years ago this place was much better. If they cost more in the neighborhood of 2.50 a cupcake my review would be better. I guess I would only be complaining about how dry they are. Lol. Bottom line is there are way better cupcake places in NYC.

Victim of shrinkflation? I go to Billy's every few weeks for a slice of cake, and recently got the smallest one I've ever seen from them - not only in width of the slice, but height! Comparing the slice I received to an instagram post of theirs from Jan 2025, it seems they've removed a layer of cake so they're all ~1/3rd smaller? Sad to see but hope they're able to stick around!

Ordered a cake for pickup. The cake was $160 for a fancy design, but it did not come as intended during pickup and the staff there is unable to help because apparently all the orders come from the "main bakery" and they told me I had to email customer service. What a miserable setup and negative experience for such an expensive cake

I contacted corporate a while ago and they were so rude.. not sure what they keep listing it on the comments if they are not willing to help.
A friend bought a cake a few weeks ago for a birthday party in the neighborhood and it was so dry we needed to have a glass of water, otherwise I was worried we could chocked.

I ordered a pie for a friend's birthday and although they don't do inscriptions on ours they are still so good. I love the homey area and vibe, it is so nice.
