If you would like to try top quality Indian food, don't think twice. Food is absolutely one of the best in NYC, service is great. Surprisingly reasonable too. Chef Hemant has done an incredible job keeping the food quality at the top level. Thank you for serving such great quality food.

Great location across from Wicked. We had dinner before our play. It was literally 50 feet away. The manager was awesome. His attention to detail and service was amazing. I ordered the lamb chops, which I didn't like because they we're served medium rare. But he took it off our bill and made the rest of our dining experience awesome! Great food and great cocktails!

Reservation was at 8 PM but restaurant was not ready to seat us until 830 PM. Found a lovely little Biryani restaurant on the 9th Ave instead.

We make it a point to eat here when we visit. New York. We love the food and we feel appreciated when we come.

The location of this restaurant is absolutely perfect if you're going to go see Wicked or any other Broadway play in that general vicinity. The food is very good and they have specials for lunch. It was really quiet when we were in there, but the food tasted great, and I would recommend going there to anybody who's trying to find to eat before or after going to the theater.

food & service were great, but 1 bathroom was out of service so we had to wait until we got to the theatre. would be nice if they fixed that --

Delicious food! We are from Denver and we only get the basic menu items there.... Samosas, butter chicken, tikka masala, naan. This lovely restaurant has that plus many more specialties we have never tried before. Everything was delicious. Service was great. Right across from the Gershwin Theater.

We went before a Broadway show. Happy with our choice. Food was delicious. We went early so it wasn't too noisy. Only issue: The toilet is not the cleanest I've seen.

Excellent food and service. Just like being in India. Tandoori chicken is just as you would expect from a master chef.

Great food, really nice place. Was really quiet when we were in there, so conversation was easy!

Our meal last night Saars was outstanding. The foods were seasoned well. And presented beautifully. The portions are generous. The service was over the top. We were in a bit of a time crunch because of musical tickets, but they graciously saw to it that we were served quickly and didn't have to rush. if you like Indian cuisine, this is for sure a place to find some of the best! We would go there again to spend more leisurely time.

Made reservations after the theater. Didn't realize it was directly across the street-very convenient! Lovely interior. Our server was delightful and very knowledgeable. We did the happy hour menu and everything was delicious! The Consuls from India sat behind us. Guess they know good Indian food. Would definitely go back when in NYC.
