We had the best time for my birthday party! There were 10 of us, and they made us feel right at home. The vibe was so lively, the music was awesome, and everyone couldn’t get enough of their cocktails and the tasty shareable apps. It's such a fun place for a group gathering!

Birch is truly a neighborhood gem and an absolute staple in my weekly routine! I find myself coming here several times a week. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, energetic vibe that instantly lifts your mood. The space is cozy yet modern, and there’s always a great playlist (lots of Vampire Weekend) in the background that makes you want to stay a little longer.
The staff? Incredible. The team is young, fun, and super welcoming, they make every visit feel personal and upbeat. Special shoutout to Andrew, who never fails to make me laugh with his quick wit and friendly banter. Also, Abby's Mama Mia recs are great!
As for the drinks—don’t even get me started. I’m absolutely hooked on their blackberry matcha lattes, classic cappuccinos, and especially the Birch spiced latte—it’s cozy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced.
The Sunday air was warm and inviting—the kind of weather that tempts you to wander with no particular plan. After a lovely afternoon out, a friend and I found ourselves stepping into Birch Coffee on 7th Avenue, hoping for a quiet close to the day.
We kept our order simple: an iced latte, an Americano, and a lemon poppy scone to share.
But unfortunately, this stop didn’t quite live up to the ease of the afternoon. The coffee fell flat—both cups lacked the depth or brightness you hope for, especially from a place with Birch’s reputation. The scone was serviceable, neither disappointing nor memorable.
What truly cast a shadow over the visit, though, was the service. It wasn’t overtly rude, but there was a distinct sharpness to the interaction—rigid, impatient, and far from warm. In a space that should offer pause and comfort, that energy was hard to overlook.
All in all, Birch Coffee felt like a missed opportunity. In a city full of exceptional cafés, the experience here—both in cup and in spirit—simply didn’t leave much to come back for.

I continue my coffee discovery. The coffee here is also delicious and easy to drink. Thank you birch coffee team.
Best flat white I had in nyc
Their homemade almond milk is chef’s kiss
Strong flat white and a bit more spacious than their other locations. Great coffee!
One of my favorite Birch locations. Friendly, quiet and consistent quality shots.
I loved that cappuccino.

Super friendly baristas, calm, cozy vibe, and the nu milk (oat and almond) is absolutely bonkers good!
The savory croissant is great.
A bit small, however it’s cozy enough to sit and unwind with your favorite brew and some mellow music. Their baristas are friendly and certainly makes you feel welcomed.
