I tried a ton of cafes over the last 3 months while I lived in NYC, and this was easily one of my favorites. I love how bold the espresso is, and it's not washed out by the milk in a latte. The milk is also delicious because they use Numilk. They have a punch card system where you get your 10th drink for free, which you'll want since you'll be coming back for their amazing drinks often!

We love Birch. We always start out our days with what is, in my opinion, the best iced latte in the city. Alan and Elise know our order by heart and we always feel welcome when we go. Cannot recommend Birch enough!

THE place to get coffee in Midtown. The coffee is great (hot and/or especially their Coldbrew!)! The food is amazing (Lemon Poppyseed Muffins, Nutella Banana Bread, Blueberry Muffins, the Everything croissants). More than anything, the STAFF here is incredible. ALWAYS friendly, they really go above and beyond for their customers. Tough to find a spot that has the service and product as on point as this place. Definitely a grab-and-go location (though you may wind up staying just to talk to everyone since their so nice). PLUS - punch cards for those that like a freebie every once and a while. Can't recommend enough!

If you're going to get coffee, get coffee from Birch! And if you're going to get coffee from Birch, get it from their midtown location!! I have yet to have a bad brew + their vegan zucchini bread is to die for. I recommend a hot vanilla oat latte, and if you like it, Birch sells their oat milk (it's the only place we buy it from these days.)

A miniscule coffee shop- it has enough room for about 3 customers- if there is inclement weather be prepared to have to stand outside. I had high hopes given the reviews but between the unwelcoming barista and the just ok house drip coffee it wasn't worth it.
