No bathroom for people looking to work!
Solid coffee Cafe with interesting choices. Staff was a mixed bag. Not sure if I would return.

The vibe is great, but the coffee was bitter and service was subpar.

Good coffee, filter iced
The barista Sam took our order and immediately asked her partner to switch because she was “filling with rage”. The coffee was excellent but that interaction was quite off putting.

The coffee was good! The service was terrible. The barista who rang up my order was extremely rude and testy. When she said she couldn’t hear me, I spoke up, then she accused me of yelling at her and said that she didn’t need my anger because a family member was in the hospital. I was beaming and happy, having the best day ever. I don’t know how she read angry. I was looking for an opportunity to show her compassion, but things kept getting worse. She ended up charging me for three drinks when I ordered two and I had to ask to see the details because she didn’t believe me.

In short, it’s underwhelming. The interior feels more like a quick grab-and-go spot rather than a place to sit and enjoy, as it’s quite uninviting. Frankly, it appears unclean and poorly maintained, with no snacks available. While the coffee was decent, it wasn’t impressive enough to warrant a return visit.

Each time we visit New York City, we discover a new coffee spot, as the city truly excels at crafting exceptional coffee. One standout for us was Bird & Branch, a local chain that definitely lived up to its reputation. We both ordered iced lattes — my wife opted for hers with a splash of vanilla — and after giving them a good stir, we found both drinks to be deliciously bold and refreshing. Their charming, well-lit space features a few cozy tables and seats, making it a perfect place to unwind.

Coffee fresh brewed but past crop. Taste old
They have a great vegan molasses cake and I always get and oat latte. Small place that is usually busy. Cute decor inside.

Wow, I have never been so impressed by a coffee shop before! Such unique and playful lattes, many naturally vegan. I ordered the Blackbird with blackberrirs, thyme, and homemade almond macadamia milk. My husband ordered a seasonal special the Firefly but I think it has honey, so check before ordering if you don't eat honey. It is made with jujube date honey syrup and gochujang ( so weird but it totally works) and gold dusted goji berries. They also had a kabocha spiced vegan loaf but we had brunch plans we were walking to, so didn't try it. Highly recommend this cute cafe. They have another location on Chelsea Pier too!
Great spot!
I love this place. Really nice aesthetics, great pastries, and good coffee. It’s a total go-to in midtown!
