It's such a cute little place for the food to be so bad. It's clear they cater to the gentrification population. The it's giving drink was great but I'll pass on the rest of the food. The Asian wings weren't bad but they were too sweet for my taste. The wings were fried well though. I asked for the steak medium well and it was well done and so salty it was inedible the fries were decent but I had to ask for new ones bc the first batch was cold. It's hard to mess up a waffles but they tried until they succeeded. The giant chicken was flavorless but fried well.

A nice little Downtempo spot. If you don’t wanna talk screaming at your friend across the table, this is definitely the place to go.
The food is consistently good and delicious and the drinks are fun and inventive .
Vegetarian options: They have several vegetarian options that are not just salad. They have a fried mushroom that goes in place of the fried chicken and it’s really delicious.
I had brunch here on Sunday, and it was lovely. The food was delicious, great outdoor patio, Juliette was the best server. Will definitely be returning

Love this place! French toast is amazing and so are the pancakes. I would recommend not getting the shrimp & grits. Tastes too oily. But otherwise I haven’t had a bad thing on the menu. The deviled eggs are good too. Every time go, the staff is very attentive and when my friend’s French toast was overcooked they removed it from the bill without hassle. The mimosas are great too.

Excellent atmosphere. Comfy seating, bar seats, or small tables, there’s a spot for anyone. The craft control menu was great, hard to choose which one to try. Extensive list of wines and spirits as well. Gonna have to try some food next time I come visit the city.

As a vegan I am always pleasantly surprised by a non vegan restaurant’s willingness to include plant based menu items. Bird in Hand does this with intention and changes the offerings seasonally as they do with their entire menu. There is so much thought and care put into ingredients and plate composition, it is very clear this is done with passion. The cocktail menu is vibrant and fun with some new twists on classic recipes as well as some creative presentations! I very much enjoyed my time here and I will be back!
Just left Bird In Hand with my wife, 2nd time this week. We cant get enough. I don't normally leave reviews but this place is just too good! Definitely try the Ginny from the block, and the 8 oz brisket blend burger..... delish!

My husband and I have been 2 or 3 times now and it’s now one of our favorite uptown places. The service is terrific. The food is consistently great. But the big appeal is the atmosphere: you can actually hear yourselves and hold conversations while still enjoying good music at humane decibel levels. Please don’t change this- there are so few places of your caliber and price range that allow friends & family to visit without screaming. Bravo!
