I brought my visiting family here, half of whom are GF (myself included). Like everyone says, all the food is really good here! No compromises just because it’s gluten free. But what I’m really thankful for is the reservation ease. I couldn’t find the group size I needed on OpenTable, so I called and got a person immediately. Needed to call two more times to change the reservation to add someone / change time, and again to confirm they could accommodate a wheelchair 😂 I felt so high maintenance and they were SUPER nice about it. For that alone, 5 stars. Will definitely bring other people here because it’s, to me, in a “classic NYC” neighborhood and gives classy vibes for reasonable price point.

Service was excellent. Food was excellent. Definitely a must visit if you are Gluten Free. I had the GF lasagna and Tiramisu. We'll be back.

I so appreciate having a full menu of gluten free choices! Everything I've ever ordered here is delicious and the service is always warm. If I lived in NYC I'd be here all the time.

Pretty restaurant with very mediocre food. Service great as well as atmosphere. It's a shame the food is not.

Great food. The staff were super nice. Good crowd but not too crowded on a Saturday night. Wonderful atmosphere.

A charming oasis in bustling Midtown, offering a serene ambiance and quiet setting—perfect for relaxed lunchtime conversations.

Absolutely phenomenal food & service.
They were very accommodating with allergies.
Everything on the menu can be prepared gluten free, much if not all is gluten free anyway.
They were also accommodating with alpha-gal allergy.

Everyone we encountered was super friendly and polite. Our meals were delicious and we were surprised by the gesture of Prosecco on the house as we were celebrating a personal success. They were especially attentive to our daughter's gluten restrictions, bringing her gluten free bread without being asked. Thanks for a lovely evening!

We made a reservation for four people for 1.30 pm. Some in our party arrived way before time and others much later. The staff were not fazed at all and cheerfully let us wait for the fourth person to arrive. Starting from Denise who seated us and Stefan and Chris who served us, they were pleasant and friendly and very patient in explaining the various menu items. All the food that they recommended was delicious, as were the desserts. One of us had a birthday and the staff joined us in singing for the birthday celebrant. All in all four very happy ladies left the place well fed and extremely satisfied. What brought us to Bistango? There used to be a restaurant of the same name on Third Ave. and 29th St. in NYC. Don't know whether it was affiliated but it was pretty good. This one is even better! We will be back.

The burrata was not even mediocre. The characterize board, the olives were not fresh, neither was the meat. The chicken parmigiana was not good per my daughter. My eggplant parmigiana was burnt cheese on top, the flatbread is not a real crust. the tiramisu was spongy and think like a custard/flan. The only thing we like was the arancini and calamari. Will not return

Great service , very accommodating seating us outdoors and the polenta with poached eggs and rosemary hollandaise sauce with roast potatoes and crispy prosciutto was perfect!
