Exceptional service, delicious food (all of which can be made gluten-free), and the perfect atmosphere for conversation. Highly recommended.
I found Bistango through the "Find Me Gluten Free" app. It's tough to find restaurants which have a decent amount of choices that are both gluten free and dairy free (I have intolerances for both). When I shared these limitations with our server they said "easy"! In fact there were so many choices that I had a hard time making a decision on what to eat. And I rarely have that pleasure. The exterior of The Kimberly Hotel is charming, and you find a beautiful gem inside with a stunning fish tank as you enter and beautiful tables and lighting in the dining room. Everyone that we encountered at Bistango were friendly and fun, and it was honestly one of the best meals I've ever had the joy of experiencing. We were only in the city for a long weekend, but we're going to make it a priority to come back to Bistango when we visit again.
Excellent lunch .. great service and food! Superb menu with Gluten free choices. Will be back.
The food was terrific, the staff was friendly and professional. The prices were reasonable for NYC.

the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was great too! my sister and i had a fantastic dinner, i would happily return and try other things on the menu.
This is a solid option for people with celiac disease or issues with wheat/gluten, but I’m not sure I’d recommend it to groups who don’t have food restrictions. The aquarium is pretty fun
Pros — food was good and prices were reasonable
Cons — the service wasn’t great. For instance, even though it wasn’t busy, some of our food took almost an hour to arrive, and some items were missing

This is undeniably one of the best gluten free restaurants I’ve had the privilege of eating at in the United States. We headed over after a fun morning of marveling at towering floats and spirited marching bands during the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. We braved the biting wind and eventually found ourselves in an elegant hotel lobby. To our left, bathed in warm lighting and shimmering holiday decorations was Bistango. A mesmerizing aquarium at the center of the dining room dominated the decor.
The food proved even more impressive! The warm, gooey, burrata encrusted in a crispy fried coating on a bed of zesty stewed tomatoes was tantalizing. For my main course, a lamb shank in a hearty sauce with buttery risotto was so tender it fell right off the bone. We savored each bite and were much too full for dessert. So the friendly staff packed them to enjoy at home.
The decor, very attentive staff, and unforgettable food makes this a 5 star experience. We can’t wait to return!

I go to this restaurant all the time with my wife. Last time, I invited friends over for dinner. It was fantastic, as always. We enjoyed the meatballs as a starter and the wood-fired pizza as our main course. And I also recommend their wine. 🥂

My husband has celiac and we came here for my birthday after our original plan for dinner told us unexpectedly that they couldn't accommodate his dietary restrictions. We happened to discover Bistango nearby, and had an incredible meal! The fact that the entire menu meant that my husband was spoiled for choice. We had arancini, Saffron Pappardelle, Sausage Cavatelli, and Mascarpone Cheesecake. Everything was delicious, filling, fresh and most importantly, made safely. We haven't stopped talking about this meal, and plan to go back as soon as possible.

This nice little place is tucked into the ground floor of the Kimberly Hotel in Midtown East. Everything, food, service was top-notch. My colleague had a chicken sandwich and enjoyed it. I had the (3) meatballs appetizer which was delicious. I then had a salad with sliced apples, prosciutto and grilled shrimp. This salad is a real winner. All in all, I recommend this for a business lunch without hesitation!
Love they have so many gluten free options. Food was delicious

Even in November I was able to sit outside in a partially enclosed area and with a heater was perfectly comfortable. The waiter Milos was attentive and helpful . The branzino was quite good..but portion too large ..would prefer lower piece and less food. Overall very good..I would eat there again
