When I arrived, no one greeted me to seat me, so I saw a woman behind the bar who looked like she might be the manager ( & it turned out it was - Kala - who I made the reservation with ) she allowed me to choose a table ( unfortunately the waiter turned out to be someone named " Oliver " - who I only saw once for service - to ask for a glass of seltzer, a large glass of ice & sliced ? lemon & orange ? - if they had it on a side plate. Some may find this petty, however it was an indication of his lack of service as a waiter & what was to come. He brought a glass with a lime wedge on the rim. The only time he returned to my table was to remove an empty glass & plate ) When I caught the eye of another waiter, I asked for a plastic" straw / stirrer " since I hate the paper straws ) Christino, who I later found out was a " busboy " brought the salad, entree & dessert I ordered ( frisse salad was good, but I prefer a little extra dressing - " waiter " was still not serving my table, so I asked someone else for extra dressing on the side. Again, reliable Christino " the busboy " brought it to the table. Placed my entree order with Kala for the pork chop - it was good but would have preferred the sauce to have had a bit more flavor - maybe with an apple cider reduction since it was served with diced apples. I understand some don't care for salt, so I added some for enhancement for my taste. After finishing the rose wine I started with - would have preferred white zin, but it wasn't available - again, the " waiter " was still not serving my table, so I asked Kala to have" Oliver " bring me a glass of reisling- that tasted like chardonnay. He never showed up. Once again Christino brought the pork chop entree ( at least it was cooked medium, because I was so perturbed by the " waiter " I forgot to ask for it to be prepared that way ) The warm blueberry crumble was pleasantly warm, with a nice, buttery toasted crumble topping & a perfect little scoop of vanilla ice cream - again, for my taste I prefer a sweeter dessert, but it was very good quality. I have posted a picture of my receipt as proof of the $ 116 I spent & left a 30 % tip ( on the $ 106 total ) - NOT for the missing " waiter " Oliver, but $ 10 to Christino - the busboy who should be a waiter instead of Oliver, and$ 10 to another waiter- Ricardo who picked up the slack for Oliver. ( really should have given Ricardo & Christino an additional $ 5 each, instead of leaving a $ 10 bill on the table for the missing "waiter ", who BTW, was far too busy at the terminal directly opposite the table I was seated at, as is evident from the photos of him I posted at such terminals throughout the duration of my meal - missed about 6 to 8 other times in addition to the ones I posted ) let's see what kind of nasty comment the " owner " will post, if any at all ) was told Oliver had been on break, yet saw him serving several other tables while I was there & being VERY attentive to the terminal !SUGGESTION : if you choose to dine here, I suggest you ask to be seated at a table that is NOT assigned to OliverParking: Very funny !! In Soho, while Spring Street is under construction !! Possibly paid parking lot several blocks away, & paid street parking - if you are lucky enough to find a spot - not sure, since I had a hired private driver

Very authentic French atmosphere, with the best Croque Monsieur in town!!!! There are various choices of dishes; it's definitely a must-eat place in Soho.

Anachronistic French establishment. If mid-20th century French is your thing, this is your place. But it could use a structural makeover (especially the bathroom and back room). That said, the service is excellent, patronage loyal, ambiance cozy. Food is decent, but overpriced, though isn't everything in Manhattan these days. Wine was good.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free items are indicated on the physical menu. Several gf dishes to choose from.

The food itself is a bit underwhelming— it’s hard to keep up when there’s so many other great French spots in NYC to compare it to. But the ambiance is super quaint and location is great.

It was a Saturday night at 8:30 when we walked in I was created very nicely. We got a seat right away by the window. The service was very attentive. My husband ordered steak Frites, and I had the codfish. Both dishes were delicious and cooked to perfection. For drinks I husband had a classic margarita was done. Well, I had A Valintini martini with cherry juice and lime. We were so happy with our experience there that we told the manager that we loved the restaurant and would be back.

Came here with the girls for galentines day. It was a bit cramped but they were so thoughtful with roses for each person and balloons. The food was amazing but the special valentines menu was under par. Main menu was much better and great food overall. Drinks were also awesome.

Ambience has a kind of rustic, old world charm. Excellent, friendly service personnel. Food was hardy and ample, simply served. Wine--Montepulciano and Riesling were our selections--was very good. Overall a nice value.

Honestly, there was just nothing particularly special about this place. The service and atmosphere were pretty good, but the food was honestly really bland for such an expensive night out. When you can get better tasting food from a fast casual place for $15-20/person, there's little reason to go here instead.

Best French Onion Soup I've ever had! Also, the Lobster Risotto was delicious. Came here on a long weekend trip and this place sounded great and definitely lived up to expectations. Even with all the food options this area has to offer, would definitely come back again!

We have been dining at Bistro Les Amis since it opened 25 years ago. Over the years we always receive a warm welcome from Roy & Debbie, Syed, Ricardo, Karla and Ben. Staff are very accommodating with any special requests you may have. Food and ambience outstanding! The Clarks from Toronto
