Came here with a friend without a reservation around 6:15pm on a Saturday night. Comfortable booths, dim lighting, kind staff, and a super cute bartender :) The chicken tacos were delicious. Didn't love the salsa for the chips and salsa, not a ton of flavor. My friend seemed to like her fish tacos too. They have a pretty patio as well, although didn't get a good look at it.

As a foodie and mezcal enthusiastic I would say I was very satisfied with the selection of mezcal that black ant possess. I enjoy my time there in company of good people as well, I love the service was lovely, the bartender was generous to us to help us go through the mezcal and give us some suggestions about the taste as well. I definitely will be back to make more memories and remember to savor the taste of mezcal for sure.

This place is very cute. It spacious, although the design isn't to memorable. We were able to be seated rather quickly and the staff was pleasant. The food was great! I wanted to try grasshopper for some time now and was not disappointed with their grasshopper croquet was delicious. The portions are SMALL. Unbelievably small. So i personally felt the food was overpriced for the portions. The black ant guac was also yummy. I always knew ants would be tasty!

I've been to the Black Ant several times for drinks and brunches. The bartenders are fantastic and make truly delicious and creative drinks. The food is pretty good- I've had the breakfast burrito which is amazing and the steak and eggs which is great. I've also had their avocado toast with egg and it is a very thin piece of bread that was nearly burnt to a crisp with a single poached egg on top- the whole table was surprised when that came out.. I did recently host a birthday brunch here and it was a truly great time and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive, including the manager (Edwin?). They have a beautiful outdoor garden space that is perfect for hosting. They also have a back room that holds about 25 split into two tables. Great place to hold a party or celebration. Looking forward to my next visit!

I could rate everything 5 stars because what I ordered with my partner was great except the side of beans that were lack of cook, dull flavor. Also, I’d say a little expensive. But! The good things: The staff is amazing, warm people, and the best is the patio! It’s beautiful and they have great events there!

Chill, dim lit ambiance with attentive and pleasant service. The Chicken in Mole with Risotto was great. It had a balanced blended of flavors; the chicken was well seasoned, flavorful and juicy, and the mole and risotto added a heavy light balance to the meal which made each bite in tortilla complete. The app was an interesting concept but a bit underwhelming, crunchy and spicy if that's your style, go for it!
