We went for the Friday night comedy show, the place was empty but we decided to give it a try. The MC was awful and the overall vibe was very cringy. Some of the artists were good. I felt very bad for them having to do their bit in front of 5 people.
The coffee house was cute, just make sure to leave before the comedy show starts.

Unbelievably rude servers, messed with our order because we didn’t tip to their standards following obnoxious replies.
Absolutely great little coffee shop, the coffee itself was very good and the food was also pleasantly delicious. Honestly for the price and the atmosphere it provides I would highly recommend

Spent $7 on overpriced coffee because I needed to find a place with free WiFi, but then neither of their WiFi networks were working...$7 wasted.

I liked the cozy atmosphere, and I think I ate the most awesome avocado sandwich. Kate, she’s a great barista and server. Love the place.

Freaking baller cafe. Understands that a cafe is where you go to sit and read. Great events. Open late. Coffee is good. Feels old school like the whole dimes square thing never happened.

Used to be my favorite place in the LES for coffee. The staff don't announce orders now and are quite checked out and dismissive. I don't want to call them rude because slinging coffee on a hot NYC day is not going to put anyone in a good mood. The place has always been cozy. The coffee is overextracted and the prices are steep for the quality. More like a dive bar for coffee than the cozy shop I'd come to when I was younger. Massive shame when the LES has lost so many neighborhood staples already and is becoming quite sterile. Cafe grumpy is a better choice of cafe nowadays IMO

Grungy coffee house. Rustic environment. Great coffee. Worth a visit.

It's like the old school (I suppose not that old school) Cafe from 10 years ago where you could work with your laptop. Like the pandemic never happened. Amazing place. Step back in time to the (in a good way) 2000 / 2010s.

The atmosphere of the place is exactly how I expected. There wasn’t a person present the three time I tried to order so I didn’t get a chance to eat there. The WiFi was also very in and out, unfortunately.

love this place to work during the day. Cozy couches, warm inviting atmosphere. The only downside is sometimes they play super loud rap music while youre trying to work. Depends on the barista working though.

they're kind of rude there but it being overcrowded most all of the time and having aggressive and hateful signage about homeless people took it over the top on the bad vibes for me
