I found out about Black Crescent thru a google search - I was looking for a bar in the LES (✅), open by 3pm (✅), and was reasonably priced (has a happy hour!✅)
The person who helped us, Reynolds, ended up being the owner of the bar. He was lovely, warm, and welcoming. 10/10 definitely going to be my go-to LES haunt!

For Owner of the Bar: Please be aware of the service of the night bartender with a pony tail larger build (Group of several ppl coming to celebrate bday party June 7th 10:00 to midnight). Please help this person getting professional mental health services, as there is clearly something not right or suffering in their life.
- Treatment to other staff: Yelling aggressively towards the kind server with glasses broke my heart. - Treatment to customers: Multiple members of our party felt extremely uncomfortable by the way we were treated. • Rolling his eyes when one of us was ordering a non-alcoholic drink • Passively aggressively when I asked casually just making conversation how the non-alcoholic drinks are and if they have anything cool in them like ashwaganda. Incredulously looking at me aggressively asking what I’m talking about, then I saying oh nvm I was just making conversation, then responding it’s on the bottle bringing the bottle turning it to me and reading the back in passive aggressive way as someone talking to a child. • Girls in our group using photo mirror having fun, being approached loudly sarcastically telling them they’re doing it wrong and aggressively ordering them to step on the X was uncomfortable. • Making another member of our group extremely uncomfortable when asking for drinks
I hope for your bars success and all other members of your team were awesome and kind. I’m sorry to leave a 1 star, but I’m hoping you see this.

This bar was such a cool spot! It has a great local vibe and the atmosphere was super fun! The waiter was really friendly and made us feel welcomed, and the drinks were delicious!! Probably the best spicy margarita I ever had

Super cool and edgy bar on the LES. Great drinks, I would recommend the Shi shi le le if you’re into gin. The bartenders and people working the tables are very friendly and make you feel right at home. They even made me a fernet and coke like I used to get back in Argentina. Definitely recommend bringing friends or a date here for a relaxed, laid back atmosphere and great drinks.

Went here for the first time. Super cool vibe. The bartender Colin made probably the best spicy margarita I’ve ever had and the aval cider was really solid. Excellent selection of more craft focused beers and their cocktail menu is expertly developed. Loved their food options that felt almost like American tapas style. Got oysters and a hot dog. I was really impressed with the oysters, which were fresh and delicious, as was the hot dog! They also have this cool Photo Booth which is fun after a couple drinks.
Will definitely be back soon!

The bartender, big guy with red beard, shad the doors locked at 3:15pm, then gave me attitude when I had a face of confusion. Then asked me how many people was at the table, I said 2 then put one cup on the table, opposite of me. Clearly a jab. Then didn’t serve me nor my friend for no reason. Don’t believe? Check the cameras.
