They need to have a man, because the service is very, very slow and they treat you badly.

Got delivery bagel and it was day-old and stale. How can you operate a bagel store in nyc without using fresh bagels?!

They won't serve a lox sadwhich open face. New York bagel places that refuse to serve open face bagel sandwiches are like a sushi restaurant that only serves California rolls
Ordered a vegetarian bagel, and got bacon inside. The store wasn’t even willing to refund what I paid

Gluten-free bagel dry as sand and not heated enough. Cappucino was awful. Think if you are not gluten allergic and order black coffee it might be better.
Very rude staff
Tried for the first time the other day, got an everything bagel with ramp cream cheese! and some bagels to go! very tasty and the woman working the register was so friendly!
10/10 — Black Seed Bagels was exactly the fuel I needed to survive (and thrive) through a night in Times Square. The bagel? Flawless. The vibe? Immaculate.
If you’re planning to conquer the city that never sleeps, make sure you carb-load at Black Seed first. Your future self will thank you.
🧡🤣
Delicious Bacon Egg and Cheese bagel. Very quick service.
Kate is always the warmest and kindest person in the room. She makes everyone who enters the store feel welcome and celebrated. If there were more people like Kate in the world, it would be a better place.

This is my go to bagel spot in the city. Bagels are fire except they have messed up my order many times (wrong type of bagel, wrong type of cream cheese, put in capers even though I requested no capers) so maybe just mediocre staff. But this doesn’t happen too often so it’s okay. Pricey but it’s NY I guess.
I got the brick lane and I couldn’t finish my bagel because there was so much Dijon on it. Other bagels look good and the staff is friendly.
Bagels were not special.. not super flavorful or crackly crusted or airy. And scallion cream cheese wasn’t very tasty or scalliony. I do appreciate that they have multigrain and vegan options. Also I ordered a drip coffee for nearly $5 which was served luke warm, nearly cold. But everyone who worked here was nice! and there was no line and service was pretty fast.
We are from Montreal, where the best bagels are made!
We wanted to try NYC bagels to compare, we loved this place. The poppyseed bagel was good, definitely different from our bagels up North…
Obsessed with the Stumptown Black Seed coffee collab. Any way I can order beans online? Couldn't find them anywhere. 🙏🏻
