Small bagel shop on the basement level of Rockefeller Plaza. It was a little bit hard to find for me as a tourist :D
It was my very first bagel ever, and I tried the Reuben turkey one. It was overall ok, a bit dry, but nice sauerkraut.

Bagels were good. The service was not great. I asked the cashier two questions about the spreads because I was wondering if there were fruit cream cheeses & then I asked if there were different types of jams. All he said was no to the first question (understandable not a big deal) & then told me “to look at the menu” for the jam question even though the menu only says “jam.” After that I ordered & I spoke clearly “1 plain bagel with plain cream cheese and 1 everything bagel with plain cream cheese” & he got frustrated with me & started being condescending. While there were a lot of people waiting for their bagels, there were only 2 people behind me in line waiting to order. I was trying to be concise & as a former food service worker, being concise makes the order go quicker. Instead, he was treating me like I was stupid. He told me “okay you need to tell me what bagel you want & then the spread” which is exactly what I had done in the first place. When I ordered it to his liking he was still being condescending through the process. It was my first time here & I was disappointed by the service.

Decent bagels and sandwiches, just don’t ask anyone on the staff to do anything like make you one… they just cannot be bothered.

For a city like NY, they work at a snails pace, totally unacceptable.i bought 2 dozen bagels and had it wait 15 mins justti get the cream cheese packed.

Nearly 20 mins for one Bacon egg on a bagel is absurd. for no reason at 11am on a Sunday, the line was out the door and the staff didnt seem to pick up their pace to meet demand. They also just didnt seem to care. The tourists clog up and ruin the place, and I get it, we’re in rock center, but this black seed is rarely packed like this, so not sure why it takes this long to make food. this place is a joke, and I will not be coming back.

Best bagel in New York city. Full of locals, be prepared to wait for your bagel order, but when it arrives enjoy and let the flavours roll 😋.

Very good New York bagels. The downside is that you have to take away. However, it is worth trying one.

Staff was friendly; line was smooth; bagel price is too expensive for the (poor) quality. Amount of mustard was absolutely diabolical (but that’s for another conversation).

Not the best. Atmosphere was claustrophobic and dark. Service was super good. Bagels were unremarkable as hell.
