My favorite coffee place in the neighborhood. Their chais, iced lattes, bagels, and baked goods are all excellent. The line can sometimes get long but it moves fast! Friendly service and they also have stamp cards for people like myself who are regulars. I always bring people visiting to Black Star so they can have the best coffee in the neighborhood to start their day!
My oat milk latte was GREAT- except my sister and I ordered a cortado and not a latte lol. The barista confirmed it was a cortado but it was definitely 80% milk, 20% espresso and 12oz total lol
Good vibe, everything is well stocked, and the patio is wonderful for me and my family. Most importantly, the baristas are so warm and welcoming. The service delivery makes you feel like you have a coffee shop in your backyard. It’s really kid friendly, which is special when you are a parent and want a nice coffee shop experience that also supports your children.
