Black Tap Craft Burgers & Beer - SoHo

Went on Sunday, May 4 rude weight staff literally no service at all. Food came out completely missing items. Was offered no highchair for the child that was with us cramped seven adults and a child into a booth refused to let two of us sit by ourselves at our own table Literally could not find the staff to fix the problems slipped on wet floors, no sign of wet floors and they applied their own personal tip for a party of six as we ordered nothing for the baby. The waitress literally stood over us, waiting for us to pick out our food instead of giving us time to look at the menu, and after our food was served, literally disappeared. Could not find her to tell her that the food was wrong could not even find her to order shakes for dessert Terrible terrible service and my food might’ve tasted better. Had it actually been prepared correctly and had all of it there but when half your salad comes out with stuff missing it doesn’t taste right would not recommend this place to anybody.

New York-35th Amazing staff! Mia C was on top of everything. She was thoughtful and fast. She was excited for my son who was turning 10. So much food and make sure you get a shake.

NYC Location… We had the bison burgers and they were absolutely amazing We also had Chocolate shake, and it was amazing We highly recommend.

Great atmosphere and awesome staff. Quickly accommodated my family of 5 walking in on a random Sunday afternoon, and Vaughn made my girls (4, 6, and 9) feel welcomed and laugh while they ordered and ate their meals. 10/10 super recommend.

Spectacular burgers and super friendly service. I ate a Tenesse and it was very delicious. Furthermore, they made a mistake with the potatoes and before I could even warn them, they had already given me extra ones as an apology. Very attentive

The best burger in the city and it’s located in midtown - nice vibing establishment - busy but the service is impeccable, the host seat you immediately and all the foods are made to order..if you are in search for a good burger nice and juicy and full of flavor this is the place to visit!

Had a daddy daughter day and we were both serviced by Von who took care of us all the way through. Ensured that we were well taken care of and was close by to take care of anything we needed. Thank you, and we’ll be back.

Absolutely awesome A MUST DO experience. The food was very good I had a Wagyu burger very yummy. The shakes were brilliantly made and very beautiful. The service was great our male waiter ALEX did great catering to our large party of 8 and getting our orders right. I definitely had to get a to go box.

Went here for a birthday dinner. Our server Vaughn was excellent. He made us feel welcomed and provided great vibes, he really set the tone. The food was great as well. Thank you, Vaughn, for your food recommendations, everything was great from start to finish. We will definitely be back!

We always try to stop by Black Tap when we are in town due to the great burgers and environment. This time was our best experience by far. Vaughn was our server and he was amazing. He was great from the moment we arrived to the time we left. Helpful, kind and just all around an awesome server. We will definitely be back.

Rarely do I ever encounter a scenario where I forcibly excuse myself from a restaurant due to lack of service and overall unprofessionalism, but unfortunately that’s where I’m at with this review.

My sister and I attempted to dine here around a week ago. The waiter we had initially was friendly, and after a few minutes of us sitting and looking through the menu, we had finally been ready to order. While we were waiting however, we were CONSTANTLY swatting away small mosquitos/flies that were entering through the door (since they assigned us a table closest to it); albeit, not pleasant. Additionally, when we were ready to order, we were waiting a total of 20 minutes before we decided to leave. Now normally if there’s a rush, I’m pretty understanding as I’ve worked in food service for many years prior. However, there were barely any people in the restaurant as it was a late weekday night. The waiter instead spent the entire time with his coworkers and was on his phone the entire time, showing them pictures and just sharing jokes meanwhile we kept looking over to see if he’d finally come. He actually was making his way over at one point after the 20 minutes, but his coworker called him back to look at something on their phone and he walked back again.

As I mentioned, we eventually left, and unfortunately never got the opportunity to try the food. I’ve been to Black Tap before in their Midtown location (which had way better service), and never encountered any issues - that’s definitely the location I’d go back to instead.

Amazing customer service from Mr . vaughn he made us feel super welcomed as soon as we entered the establishment for our daughter 3rd birthday its a blessing to see that this type of service and chemistry is still around when it comes to the food industry please check him out what a fabulous gentleman hes great with kids made the environment a great afternoon for us thank you so muchhh !!
