Food was great, service was so so. We felt abandoned by our waiter. I tried to order a second glass of wine but our waiter didn't show up until the very end of the meal. A bit frustrating.
awesome price fix lunch - enjoyed our meal and our waiter was so nice - I wish I got his name but I know he is Turkish.
Unfortunately it was terrible. My boyfriend's steak was covered in some strange brown thing, it was served w 3 raw string beans, that was it. I was given 3 scallops and cold French fries - which was 48.00 I had a dietary restriction which was fine- I just asked for no risotto- but they could've added 2 more scallops to make up the difference It was pathetic- we spent 150.00 went home and cooked bc we were still hungry. Very disappointing- I was shocked having worked in restaurants and hospitality for years in NYC
Great service and food. My wife and I shred the mushroom toast, scallops and rizzoto and an awesome salad. Happy hour drink at bar before being seated was great way to start.
Enjoyed the 10-year anniversary menu and this was a 9/9. Every single item was outstanding. Have been to BLACKBARN half a dozen times at least and feel like it has been better each time. The mushroom toast, the butternut ravioli, the filet, and tuna tartar were the stars but all of them were amazing.
I made a reservation for six and was supposed to meet another group. Three of us were seated at a table and when the other group arrived, they were seated at a separate table. It took us 10-15 minutes to figure out the error. Service should be more proactive/communicative when seating, especially once 10-15 min has passed and neither table has the full amount of guests. Ordered the bulgogi skewers and one piece was very undercooked.
Blackbarn is an experience. It is cozy and intimate, yet very high-end. The diversity of food options is commendable, with plenty of options based on preference or dietary restriction. I particularly appreciated all of the plant-based option offered. Great, friendly service as well. Highly recommend dining here.
Love the atmosphere, quieter than usual because it was just after New Years. Our waiter Dimitri was very attentive and helpful.
Excellent food, noisy through about 7, then quiets down when work crowd leaves.
The place is huge and has a modern feel. We were here for brunch on a Saturday and it was pretty empty. The short rib hash and egg was outstanding, though I thought the potato could have been crispier. The fresh juice was just ok. The service was great, very attentive.

Absolutely incredible restaurant! I came here for the first time with my sister and cousin for brunch, and we were extremely pleased with everything! Our waiter, Serkan, went above and beyond to make sure we had a special time. He was so personable, professional, and attentive! I got the farmer’s omelet which came with home fries- it was delicious! I can’t wait to come back and try more of the amazing food selections on the menu. So thankful we found this gem!

Terrible lunch service and over cooked meat. Disappointed because I have been before for dinner and it was great. I took a client there and was sorry I did.
Nice atmosphere good food selection and quality
Our waitress ignored us after our order was taken. No one checked to see if we needed anything further and we had to flag down a different waiter just to get our check.
