Matcha white chocolate latte was only lukewarm, didn't taste strongly of matcha or white chocolate, and was pretty sweet. A bit of a disappointment

Update: I have spoken with management regarding the horrible customer service of staff member Courtney, based on experiences from neighbors disclosing to me their interactions with the same individual, which are congruent with the ones I have had. It's pretty bad that when I want to go get a coffee or matcha I have to check who is behind the register to decide if I go in or go to one of the many other coffee shops within walking distance.
I now understand the excitement I have listened to for three months regarding the opening of this location. Back in April, I visited the location on the 23rd, and it's a to-go place as there is only standing room like an elevator. This location is very spacious and plenty of seating. I like the pink trees on the mirror it gives the place a Miami vibe. I had a conversation with Chris, the manager, what a great person and worker. The company is definitely getting their bang for the buck with him. He delivers exceptional customer service. Now, the core of this, the coffee had to pass the test. Chris recommended the pistachio latte, and I got it iced with oat milk. Delicious, refreshing, not too sweet, not burnt, I had the chocolate croissant pull-apart, which was fluffy, light, not too sweet, and fun to eat. I want more. I'll be back for sure. Tati is excellent as both a barista and a great host. Macho Man, Too Be Real, playing in the background. Nice chill vibe. Great alone or not alone. Highly recommended unless working from home and expect to receive calls.

UPDATE YOUR HOURS, it’s 8:36AM and you are closed.
There was no greeting at all when picking up an order after trying to talk to them. The crew was just talking amongst themselves. Found a piece of paper in my matcha after drinking for a little bit!
The ice banana bread matcha was a little too sweet for my liking. Didn't realize that there was already syrup before adding honey to the drink.

I love blank street so much the people are always so kind and they have the most creative and tasty drinks. My favorite is the iced blueberry matcha I have one almost everyday.

I only tried Matcha latte. This place is pre-made matcha puree instead of making matcha from powder as in a traditional way. The taste and quality of matcha is not so good here.

Food only gets a 4 because you can’t toast the almond croissant, but otherwise everything is great!
This location does need more consistent staff however!

Melissa (woman with lovely olive skin and bobbed straight hair, in case she changed her name knowing I was unhappy) just refused to make a drink for me. She claimed this was because it wasn’t standard. What I asked for was a watermelon matcha spritz without the matcha (I never ask for a discount for this, BTW), and I’ve had that same drink made by four other people several times at this location. The matcha would be the most expensive component of this drink, so why on earth wouldn’t she be able to subtract that and simply add more inexpensive seltzer water? And she thinks this makes her look smart.
I’m a loyal and frequent customer and she just lost me for this business overall. She’s a young person (I’m only 44 but I felt like I was talking to a spiteful 12-year-old) who needs to inject power into her job by being spicy and saying no. I truly hope Blank Street will give her the lesson in customer service that all their other employees seem to innately understand. I certainly don’t think the customer is always right, but nor should an employee say no just to see how it feels. Sad to not see you guys anymore!
Blank Street coffee is all the same across the board BUT the Black Street location on 7th Ave and 20th St has the BEST STAFF. Super sweet individuals. Coffee meh, staff here

Nice spot in the neighborhood in Chelsea. It would be nicer if, when you walk into the coffee shop and say 'good morning' to the crew, they greeted you back with at least a 'good morning.' Their attitude is off-putting.

Cute coffee shop and friendly baristas. They were really helpful modifying a coffee order. Got a Brown Sugar cold brew latte that was great.

Casual coffeeshop chain with locations in a few cities. The drip coffee (house medium roast) was good and what you expect out of a good cup. The latte was even better, right amount of sweetness with espresso flavor fusing with the milk.
My go-to coffee place in the neighborhood.Yes, there are more enjoyable places to sit and sip coffee in the area, but after trying most, Blank Street has by far the best-tasting coffee and chocolate chip cookies.
