I felt bad stopping in while they were sweeping up and closing the dining area, but the two employees that worked this afternoon (Monday, 4:45-ish) were swift, courteous and took my order kindly. They were still accepting take-out orders despite nearing the closing time. I ordered their seasonal Pistachio Matcha and found it a bit too sweet & with a gritty texture. Perhaps my drink was rushed as I find their matcha drinks in Soho location sublime, but nevertheless, plus one star for the service!

Have been to several Blank Streets in the city but always just ordered a matcha americano. This time I tried the pistachio special and it was really good! A bit sweet but still tasty.

The atmosphere is very nice inside, but any drink other than a small black coffee ($2.50) is at least $6.15. Free WiFi but not much seating (5 small 2 or 3 person tables). Service is quick and staff is very friendly, but there aren’t many drinks that aren’t coffee/matcha based, other than hot chocolate and an iced tea.

Looooooved the matcha drinks, unique and yummy. Not the best place to hang out because the space is small and can get pretty busy

Hey, I just wanted to share my honest experience. I usually come here because the coffee is consistent and my order is made right but today was really disappointing. The lid wasn’t put on properly, and the coffee spilled everywhere. It soaked through the cup so badly it was literally falling apart in my hand. I ended up with coffee all over my hand and jacket while I’m at work.
I try really hard to be understanding because I know what it’s like to work in service, but when the coffee is this expensive and the quality of service drops like this, it’s hard to justify coming back.
I just hope this can be taken as constructive feedback because I actually like coming here when things go right

Stopped by to cop a squat while kids were thrifting. Many sweet drink options, including creative matcha drinks (Oreo, strawberry shortcake). We got a traditional iced matcha latte and iced coffee. Service was friendly and fast. Drinks were just okay, and a little pricey. Never ending stream of customers which were >90% female…not sure why…

Amazing as always!
This spot is lovely and has some limited seating but feels pretty spacious (for an NYC coffee shop). It can get a bit crowded but that’s common at Blank Street! Sarah was wonderful and made a delicious matcha! Their prices are very reasonable for the city.

not recommended- staffs today here are so mean and rude. We just want to charge our dying phone here for couple minutes and took a seat while half the store was empty (no one else in that long couch we took, but got kicked out by a white lady says “seats are for customer only” while we bought a drink initially but then got told their bathroom is not open to public while the bathroom is literally right there- and we had to cancel the order… for not purchasing anything (we really tried to)and their drinks look so mid… think coffee three minutes walk from there is a better choice
