we love Blooms tavern.. great burgers, and terrific fires.. but the noise on a Wednesday at 5 pm was so deafening, and so crowded we culdn hear ourselves. Yes, it is an Irish pub, cut they needed to not accommodate hordes of drinkers in respect for those at tables. the Bar area, seats empty with people just standing and shouting... too many private parties...ask only for a table in the front open section.. outside is not any better on busy 58th street. Sorry we love it, but no...
I visit many pubs in Manhattan, and without a doubt, this is one of the best. Large screens display major sports events, there’s a wide variety of drinks, and they have a kitchen that serves delicious food. Everyone who works there is amazing.
Had a nice brunch at Blooms. The Bottomless Brunch offer is reasonably priced, and several different drinks are included. The food was decent, and the service was great - our server overheard me mention that it was my friend's birthday, and she brought a slice of chocolate cake with a candle. So nice of her! Overall, a nice experience.
