I wouldn’t go back here most definitely not worth the money. Service was so so (at best), too loud and the food was fine but nothing special.

One of the best Steakhouses in New York and I've been to a few! Service was top notch and food well presented and plentiful and tasted great. Prices are reasonable considering the location and quality of food. If you get a chance to visit, tell then Tony sent you and you'll get a free glass of water...?

We love this place.. good quality steak, seafood and salad. The complimentary popover is a hot with fist time guests. The servers are very friendly and efficient too. It's gotten better ...

The food was good, but the service was terrible. We ordered drinks, a buratta before our meal, and our main course all at the same time. The drinks came after 10 min, then we waited over an hour for the buratta. Our main course came out 5 min after, so we were rushed to finish the buratta as the table was too small to accommodate all 3 plates. My wife ordered a second cocktail but we never saw it. For such a nice place, the waitstaff looked like they had no idea what was going on.

Weak service, no one really cares. Place has turned into a glorified sit by the bar and eat a burger place.

This place needs more credit! The ambience was amazing, everyone at the restaurant was friendly and helpful and the food was phenomenal! We went there for a romantic date night and it was a perfect place to go. Highly recommend!

We took a chance and returned after a previous, excellent couple of meals 9 years ago. We shared a porterhouse steak, it was excellent and perfectly cooked. The popovers were a new experience and were delicious. We didn't opt for a pudding but received a complimentary creme brûlée which was a perfect example of how it should be and impossible to resist.

I cannot say enough about the food and the staff at BLT Steak! I scheduled a business dinner for eight earlier this week and I couldn't have had a better experience. Anthony, the manager, greeted us and made us feel like VIPs. My party had members from different cities and they are all looking forward to coming back. Our steaks were cooked perfectly and the sides were amazing! I will be booking business and family dinners here again!

I will never forget my meal at BLT……yes we had Wagyu with all the trimmings which of course just melted in the mouth but it was a find on the wine list which blew me away. I never read so few letters and integers with such expectations: Chateau Petrus 1970……..would it be spent? Would it have faded into a cadaverous memory of greatness? Absolutely not to both….still some fruit in this unctuous marvel. Definitely in my top 5 bottles ever…..bravo

I had a pretty good time at BLT Steak last night with a group of about 9 other people. Our waiter was phenomenal (despite the hostess being quite rude in the beginning). I didn't have any bread, but was told the popovers were warm and delightful. The Sneaky Heat was a great drink (not too sweet or too strong). The beet salad was phenomenal (chef's kiss)! The petite filet was just okay. I was told the ice cream and passion fruit desserts were amazing. The atmosphere and service were certainly 10/10. I'd certainly come back and try other dishes!

BLT STEAK is a contemporary American steakhouse that serves up a variety of cuts of fine beef and other meaty dishes. located on East 57th Street. the interior has a modern classy air—comfy bar in the front and a fairly large dining area with a variety of seating options. the vibe feels post-work business-y to date nights to celebratory get-togethers.had dinner with family, recently. we ordered a variety of dishes. started with the tuna tartare which was excellent—fresh tuna & rich and flavorful. the complimentary popover rolls are served warm with soft butter—and are a tasty vehicle of carbs and fat. for my main, ordered a medium-rare Cowboy Steak (bone-in Prime Ribeye) — the steak was just okay/good and was cooked to medium. the steak didn’t have a great beef-forward flavor. most of the flavor came from the complimentary red wine sauce (there are other sauce choices). the creamed spinach side was really good; the French fries were crispy and tasty; and the Brussel Sprouts + bacon were just okay.while our server was friendly, the service was kinda sub-par. drink orders was super slow like it took 20 minutes to get a glass of wine. there were multiple errors in orders that eventually got corrected. however the problems continued to when the check came and the wrong amount / bill was charged and then had to be corrected with a new bill. again, the server meant well but was too all-over-the-place. honestly if the steak I ordered was better, i’d say this BLT was like 4/4.25 stars.

Food did not quite match the price tag. The service was terrible. They kept trying to clean the table while we still had food on our plates, it felt as if they were in a rush to kick us out. The check was messaed up several times, which made it awkward.

I have been to this restaurant several times, but not with my kids. We now live in FL so while we were in NYC, we thought we would take the kids to this restaurant. My kids loved it! My older son had the skirt steak which he devoured. My younger son had the burger which was huge for an 8 year old, but was outstanding. I had the ribeye which as usual was excellent and my wife, not a meat eater, had the best meal of the evening, the filet. All 3 steaks were perfect, but if you had to order one of them, order the filet. The service was perfect and very accommodating for our kids. The popover bread is a classic and I highly recommend. We also had the creamed spinach and potatoes which were oustanding. Highly recommend!
