This is one of the best coffee bars in the US. Their Hays Valley espresso, roasted medium-dark, is dense, with heavy notes of hazelnut and cocoa, perfect for a cappuccino, macchiato or cortado. This coffee quality is so good as to make it a destination and not just a quick stop on your way. The atmosphere however is cold and some locations lack seating. Overall incredible coffee.

Been a few years since I checked out a Blue Bottle, but I've stopped in this location a few times over the past month and it definitely holds up. The iced NOLA is awesome - not too sweet - and they do a really solid oat milk latte. They also have a bathroom!

The coffee is amazing at all their locations, but the staff here are particularly friendly. They remember my name and order, say hello, and manage big lines and unruly customers graciously. Big fan.

Ok, I will not say I didn't enjoy my coffee but it is way overpriced for what you get (over $8). I ordered the New Orleans latte iced and it came in a small cup as pictured. It was a bit too sweet for my liking especially after telling the baristas to go lighter on the sugar. It was not bad, it was flavorful with the chicory root but I wouldn't come back to blue bottle since I feel the prices are a bit too unreasonable for the quality and size.
