I've visited Blue Haven a few times, and it's a lively sports bar that's perfect for college football and NFL fans. The atmosphere is energetic, especially during game days when the place gets packed. It's an excellent spot to hang out with friends, and the service is consistently solid. The crowd is on the younger side.
The food is great, and I highly recommend trying the buffalo chicken wrap paired with waffle fries - it's absolutely delicious! The prices are reasonable, making it a great value for the experience. I definitely plan on returning!

Friends & I had amazing time here after dinner! The bartenders were so cute & sweet. The back of the bar was actually rented out for a birthday party, and they had submitted an emo/pop punk playlist and we LOVED IT!!! Drinks were well priced compared to other places we went in NYC. Honestly so glad we stumbled into this bar

Bartender was extremely rude. I have never been to a bar and been denied water. The bartender insisted I buy 2 drinks in order to get water. Extremely irresponsible and money hungry establishment. Little did he know we came with a group of 10 people, and he lost out on all of our service for the rest of the night. I hope it was worth it! Not to mention the overall vibe and energy in the bar was horrible and there was barely room to breathe. As I was turning to get my friends to leave, he screamed “YOU’RE GOING THE WRONG WAY” at me. Pathetic little pony-tailed man on a power trip unfortunately. Do not give your money to this establishment. Not to mention we were the only people of color in the whole place. Quite possible that had something to do with it. With all the amazing bars in New York it’s essentially a crime to spend your money at this waste of space.

Me and my friend work nearby so we wanted to try out this bar we got the strawberry lemonade with vodka. It literally tasted water down. You couldn’t even taste anything. It cost $60 for four of them and then we got shots and we didn’t feel anything like there wasn’t even liquor in them so we ended up getting three each which was $90 which would be somewhat acceptable if we felt anything literally felt like we just had water The spot is really nice looking, but I wouldn’t come back here in general cause I just felt like it was a rip off.

My friend and I went for a quick dinner and she has celiac - she is severely allergic to gluten and any trace of it will make her very sick. She told this to the waiter and then subsequently asked the person who brought our food to confirm with the chef that her meal was gluten free. One bite into the wrap she got and there was a crouton. Not taking allergies seriously is not okay!

Mixed drinks are made with low quality mixers and you can tell from the taste. Ordered food and drinks with friends and the soda gun shoots out flat soda with a nasty after taste. This place has really gone downhill over the years and it’s obvious when it’s empty by midnight. Won’t be coming back anytime soon.
