We selected Maiz because it had the highest ratings of the Mexican restaurants in walking distance --- we made the right choice!!! The happy hour $5 flavored margaritas were delicious. We chose the chicken and shrimp fajitas - fresh, hot, very flavorful. The service wonderful. Cute and very quaint.
Discovered this gem while walking towards Times Square. They have an all day happy hour, which is $5 for any Margaritas or wine. Chimichangas and their loaded nachos is what we ordered.
We were tired and hungry, looking for vegan-friendly food near Times Square. We found a quiet, clean restaurant with good food. We were able to build our own vegetarian bowl with rice, beans, caramelized onions, lettuce, greens, and roasted corn. The place is frequented by local customers . An authentic Mexican restaurant.
