The concert itself was excellent. I went to see Robert Glasper. The venue is pretty small. The seating was really tight with long tables for eight people right along the front and you're either facing the performer or your back is to the performer. Then there's some booth seating across the aisle which people were crammed into that as well but I guess that's part of the vibe and as long as the music is good, you kind of forget about it. I purchased VIP seating...
Bought tickets to a show that was cancelled and the they wouldn't apply the credit to any future show. That was wack. Only reason it's 4 stars and not less is the caliber of the shows.
This is my second year at Robtober for my birthday and this year Cordae was there! And as usual, Robert and his band were AMAZING! Cordae was awesome, too! The best part of my night? Robert’s wife!!! It was her birthday, too and she was a blast!!! She had the whole club hype! Great energy in the club that night! Blue note never fails!
