The food was very good. This may sound insignificant but the floor was very slippery. At first I thought it was water but it remained that way the whole night. Aside from being nervous that my parents would slip and fall that made me question the cleanliness.
I typically don't write reviews but this restaurant exceeded my expectations. Service was a great balance of "attention" with understanding my friend and I wanted time to catch up. Server's recommendations were on spot and my drink was made perfectly. Loved the open-air of the restaurant, so even eating inside felt like you were outside but without the city street noise. Would definitely recommend and look forward to eating there again.
The best place to start your weekend. Great vibe , and just soooo much fun. I went to their Soho location 1st and had a great time, but that location is a lil more bougie, but the east village location is a straight up vibeeee
We never had a server assigned to our table. We had to ask the host for menus, we got to ask the host to order and we had to ask the food runner for more water and our check. The food came out in a time manner, but it was bland. The hummus and babaganoush tasted exactly the same. I got the Caesar salad and it came out with dressing on the side and a there was too much lettuce to mix the dressing it was falling out everywhere. It was just a mess. Maybe they were having an off night in regards to service, but the food isn't worth it for me to go back. If you're between two places, choose the other one.
Had a great time hosting a birthday dinner here! The staff were so energetic and attentive - shoutout to Lucas and Zoe in particular for taking care of us so well. Really appreciated getting our own private room, would def recommend for big groups.
It has been a while since I have eaten at a restaurant in the East Village. The food was good but just little things. We wanted to order a bottle of chianti which was on the wine list but was told the chianti was not available at the restaurant only at their sister restaurant in Soho. Not a huge deal but odd. The other thing that was odd ice was added to the guys' cognac (after dinner drink). Never have I seen ice in cognac before. You would think a bartender would know this. We asked for extra bread to sop up the sauce in our appetizers. 4 small pieces of toasted bread was $4 - didn't mention to us there was an extra charge. I understand prices have gone up and the restaurants need to recoup to make ends meet but $4 was a big excessive for 4 small pieces of bread. I would not go back but there are other restaurants in the area I would try first.
Great food but not so great service. Hummus, lamb chops, tagline, and salmon were all top notch. The “mom's schnitzel (yes schnitzel) was good but under seasoned. We were able to reserve a table for 7 on the Saturday just hours before we showed up! We arrived early and our table was ready and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. We ordered drinks that came quickly but our hummus order took 50 minutes to arrive. No real concern from staff when we asked about its status twice. The main entrees also took an extremely long time and came out at different times so some in our group had nearly finished before others had received theirs. That's a bit awkward as those with amazing hot food feel bad for those with nothing yet. Also they forgot one entree all together. The staff did finally show concern for their poor service once we pointed it out. The forgotten dish finally showed up and was complementary. I think this place works if you are low key and not in a rush but with better service and timing it could have been great.
Amazing atmosphere! Had a birthday there and Zoe and Lukas were absolutely wonderful. They were so nice and welcoming and made the celebration special. The food was incredible and the drinks were marvelous. Lovely decor and overall such incredible service.
I'm not one to leave reviews, especially poor ones, but can't let this one go. Ordered appetizers, which were very good. Before the entrees arrived, a mouse was running around the dining room not more than a few feet from our table. The waitstaff was apologetic and I didn't object to paying for the food we ate, but a mouse in a restaurant is a real problem.
Went to this restaurant with the entire family after seeing a show. The food was wonderful but the heat in the restaurant wasn't working. We were the first ones there when the restaurant opened so we just figured the heat had just been turned on. No one told us it wasn't working. We overheard another customer asking about the heat and someone telling them they were having issues. They had small space heaters but it was still freezing and honestly ruined the dining experience. They should call people that have reservations and let them know about the issue or at the minimum they should tell customers when they walk in.

The food was excellent but the service was not great. It was not the waiters fault, I think he was the only waiter working so he had all the tables but he never checked on us and then we had to go get him to place the order and then again to get the check when we were done dining.
Got there early for a 730 reservation. It was busy and they couldn't seat us so we got a drink and waited outside. Food was outstanding, drinks were well done and had a great time.
It was my best friend's birthday and the servers were so sweet and kind every step of the way !!! Great food and ambiance, and best hummus I've ever had. I will definitely be back !
