Consistently good food and service. The maguro maki rolls had generous amounts of tuna.

Without a reservation, we had to sit at the bar, even though there were plenty of free tables. Got the menu where the dishes cost between $14-16. Sushi and salads were ordered, when the bill came, 1 dish cost $30, the waitress didn't speak English, only Japanese and I paid and will never come back!!

A zen counter sushi lunch experience amidst a sea of chaotic lunch crowd.
Our server was efficient and friendly.
The eggplant and shiitake mushroom appetizer was delicious with a kick of hot sauce.
The specialty rolls were perfect - clean, delicious and just right for lunch.

It was so delicious that I am leaving a review for the first time since coming to New York. I didn't go to the main branch, but I came to Brookfield Place and saw that there was a branch, so I decided to try it and it was the right choice. I didn't try any of the other menu items, but I ate poke and it was better than the one I had in Hawaii;
Try it with sushi rice + spicy tuna + tofu + seaweed stem.
It's expensive, but worth a try.
Most pathetic sashimi donburi I have ever had. Five slices of salmon, a sprinkle of pickles and probably half a pound of rice for $21. I love sushi and will make the extra effort for excellent sushi but this was just shameful. Their poké bowl is a better option with better portioned fish and toppings, also at $21, pricy for a poke bowl.

Located within Hudson Eats but has own dine-in area. Service manager is attentive and friendly. The happy hour deal is great, fresh seafood, sushi rice temperature just nice, variety of seafood is reasonable good.

One of the best sushi places in the city! Whether for takeout or dining in, the service is always outstanding and the fish quality is excellent. I live and work nearby, so I often take advantage of their maki combo happy hour deals. You must try the spicy tuna hand roll!

honestly the food isn't worth the price. my shrimp and tofu were cold, the only good part was the rice. I had to drink water too while I ate because it has an unpleasant taste

Go to lunch spot when you are willing to splurge and want great food. Poke bowl - noodles, salmon, and spicy wakame is a must (~$22-24, if you get add ons).Sit down is ok but the food is normally not as good. Poke bowl is more worth the amount and is a quick option.
