Have eaten here since they opened. Pricey, but always fresh. The last time the yellowtail was brown rather than white with connective skin thoughout. The ginger has been replaced with dyed packaged ginger that contains aspertame. The prices continue to rise.

FOOD POISONING! midtown location Almost did not make it home. Then, hours in the bathroom. Very horrible experience. Some varieties special sushi was what I ate. Never had this problem before at their other location in Soho.

Paying for rice and 5 thin slices of fish. Saddest and not best tasting (or freshest) chirashi. The fish was sliced extremely thin and you truly see way more rice to fish. Way worse than nigiri. Like 10:1 rice to fish ratio.Not coming back again!Service is fine, not much of it. More of a grab and go spot than a good sit down lunch. Maybe their grab and go is better (the menus are different).No hot or other drinks. Basically your offerings are the bottled drinks for the grab-and-go'ers. Why even offer sit down if there's no experience?? Should've been adamant not to eat here when the entire bar was empty.Not too much ambiance since there's so much foot traffic.

Absolutely horrible and inequitable serving of the poke. The guy in front of me literally got twice the amount of fish I did. The tall guy serving needs to be re trained.
