We arrived in NY city early in the morning and were looking for a nice sushi restaurant to have for lunch . We looked up sushi restaurants nearby our hotel and Blue Ribbon sushi came up first with the most positive reviews so we gave it a try. When we walked in, we were impressed with nice decorations. The sushi was delicious but the portion was much smaller than expected and it was on the pricy side. The wait staffs were nice but for the amount of money we paid , we were still hungry and had to go and grab a slice of pizzas to feel full .

Amazing night eating some of the best and fresh sushi. The ambiance was low key and the service was great. Took our time, tasted a lot and enjoyed each others company. Would definitely recommend coming here

honestly awful. the fish was not fresh, the dishes were inconsistent and weird. i’ve come here a few times over the last few years and it definitely has gone way down in quality. i was very disappointed. they brought me a lychee martini and it tasted like sea water. i was baffled. i asked for a new one and they did bring me a better one but like… what the hell? what the helly? why did it even taste fishy in the first place. won’t come back. the service was good though.

Service was terrible. We had a reservation and they sat us by the bar while everyone else was in the dining room. Brought food we didn't order but did agree to take it off the menu.

Very nice Blue Ribbon. Same menu as everywhere else, but the pieces of fish on the sushi were extra large. Nice “insanely fresh” but fresh enough. Nice atmosphere and service.

Exceptional meal. Service was outstanding. Food was utterly delicious. And, what a lovely space. I'll be back.

Came in at noon on a Sunday for what we hoped would be slightly upscale sushi. Space was not very pleasant, including a sports tv. Service was nice enough but food quite disappointing. Felt very expensive for the quality.

It's been several years since I ate here for my sister's bachelorette party but it was a wonderful time. The food was both visually appealing and palate pleasing! I wish I'd known about this place when I was attending NYU!

Me and a few of my buddies from Nj stopped by here while we visited and definitely will be back Andrew was a welcoming and insightful server and all staff was extremely friendly. Oxtail fried rice was a 10/10 highly recommend.

Really boring place, almost empty and food sucks

Having been to other Blue Ribbon establishments we were very excited to try here. Hamachi crudo was great, but the rice for all other sushi dishes was sub-par at best. Odd flavorings as well and food didn't feel fresh overall. Most disappointing was our waiter, though nice, was quite uninformed about the menu when we asked questions. For a $500+ for 3 people, there are far better options in NYC.
