Highly recommend you visit Blue Smoke in Battery Park City before their scheduled permanent closure in a few more weeks at the close of 2024.

If you go, don't miss the homestyle deviled eggs that pair well with a side of chipotle raspberry barbecue sauce that you have to request from your server. Other standouts include the pit smoky beans with sizable flecks of brisket, the buttermilk chicken bites with two sauces that put the Chick-fil-a version to shame...

Food is perfect, the service is perfect, the flavor is perfect. I realized this is a perfect restaurant not only when I had my food but also after I visited some so called “great shop”.

On the recommendation of the extremely nice and friendly service, 4 of us (2 women and 2 men) had the Rip Sampler with 4 side dishes (mashed potatoes, 2x mac'n'cheese and Cole Slow salad). The food was excellent, the service couldn't be better. Thank you for the great food
