Ordered pork fried dumplings, steamed vege dumplings, ma ma fish, picked chicken, and pea tips. The food came really fast. Like maybe 2 minutes lol, very different from my Italian lunch where I waited 2 hours. The fish was the best dish and the veges and dumplings were good too. The chicken was over fried and too salty. The peanuts were better than the chicken.

My wife and I went here for dinner on a Friday afternoon based on a recommendation from someone that works nearby and said she is a frequent customer and likes the food. We arrived a around 5 pm and was packed, so we made a reservation using RESY for 5:30 pm. When we came back they opened the second floor that quickly became full. The food doesn't disappoint - although most dishes are spicy - which is ok for me, the food tastes authentic Szechuan. Service is attentive and fast. the thing that put me off - thus the -1 star, is that when was time to pay and the server brought the POS, the pre-defined tip options were 22, 25, 28, 30%... really?

Incredibly great looking interior. Best General Tsao Chicken my family and I have ever had! Some of the best Chinese cuisine. I honestly recommend.

The taste of the dishes at this restaurant is among the worst I've had for Sichuan cuisine. Additionally, the place is very unhygienic. The cup we were given wasn't cleaned properly, and there were rice grains still stuck on the bowl. With such a dining experience, I left a very small tip, yet the restaurant manager stopped my friend and me, implying that I didn't tip enough. Ridiculous. I definitely won't be coming back. (Honestly, it's already generous of me not to ask for compensation. Truly shameless.)

For such a dining experience, I gave a very small tip, and the restaurant manager even stopped me and my friend, implying that I was underpaying. hehe. I won't go there again. (To be honest, it’s good that I didn’t make you lose money. It’s really shameless)

This place is alright if you’re new to Chinese food and in Midtown- not horrible but also not all that great either. As someone who knows Chinese food, I do take issue with them calling themselves a Hunan restaurant. They do have few Hunan dishes - we had chairman mao’s braised pork which was alright though they were out of the Hunan bacon. The rest of the menu is fairly generic covering everything from Sichuan to Peking duck to dim sum. Most of the dishes were just ok, served rapid fire within 5 minutes of ordering so likely not freshly made. The best part of the place is their cocktail menu - they serve a nice creative old fashioned.
Nice Chinese cuisine!

Delicious spot for tasty Szechuan Chinese food! There is a large variety of food options from Peking duck to dan dan noodles to soup dumplings, some of my favorites! The ambiance was also very appealing and service was great!

The food is just… really not great. I didn’t have to spit it out, but would not eat again. The ice cream especially was some of the worst I’ve ever had. One server took like a minute awkwardly trying to clear our table.
