Bluestone Lane at 1375 Broadway is an absolute gem. The coffee is consistently excellent, the food is fresh and beautifully presented, and the staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely care about the experience. The space feels calm and inviting despite being in the heart of Midtown. A perfect spot for a morning flat white or relaxed lunch. Five well-deserved stars!

This place is superb. The staff is awesome and the food/beverages are a cut above from the rest of the midtown cafe set. Fast, friendly, and high quality. I go almost every day.

The staff was extremely rude and arrogant. They didn’t answer my questions properly and had a terrible attitude. I just walked out.

On this particular order, I ordered it via Uber eats. They would do themselves a favor by wrapping their coffee drinks in plastic or putting them in a sealed plastic bag. When my $30 order arrived, the coffee was topped over onto my food which was soggy cold and wet and my coffee had only a third of it left because they don’t tape or wrap their coffee drink drinks. If you’re going to use delivery services, you must make sure that the drinks are secured. There was nowhere in the Uber eats app to leave a review which was very interesting because most of the restaurants on Uber. You can leave a review or you can write what happened hence why I’ve come over to Google. I would’ve loved to have known what my pasty tasted like, but I genuinely did not get to because it was soaking wet from my coffee which I’ve been expelled Because it was not wrapped properly. So going inside blue lane is great, but this delivery situation was poor at best. Please change the way you secure your products particular your beverages.

This was by far the worst matcha Ive ever had. I ordered a large oat matcha - the person behind the bar took about 20 minutes to make it. He was moving slow and looked confused (idk if he was sick or something but he didn’t look ok)
Then I saw him make my matcha - he put four giant spoons of matcha into a cup and put whole milk in it - even though I ordered oat. He then threw away the drink and put oat milk into the same cup. He made the matcha and gave it to me - it was medium size. When I asked if it’s large he slurred yes (I think he was sick or something was wrong with him)
I then took a sip and it was disgustingly strong - like half of my cup was unmixed matcha.
I think it’s a bad look for your company to have employees like that or make them work when they’re not able to work.

Probably the most disgusting smoothie I’ve ever had, was completely warm and the consistency of juice.

Tried the pumpkin spice latte—great flavor, just a touch on the sweeter side for me. Still a cozy seasonal treat!

Plenty of space to sit.

I absolutely love the cozy Aussie café vibe here! The banana bread and iced latte were just perfect and really hit the spot. The staff was super friendly, and I appreciated that it wasn’t too noisy upstairs. Just a heads up, though—seating downstairs is a bit limited and fills up quickly, so it’s a good idea to arrive early if you want to enjoy your meal there. Overall, it’s a fantastic spot for coffee and a light breakfast!

I’m very disappointed. I’ve been a loyal customer for years and always enjoyed their cappuccinos—until now. Hence, this updated review.

I ordered my usual large cappuccino, and as I stood in the back watching it being made, I could tell from the way she was weirdly frothing the milk that it wasn’t going to be any good. Sure enough, the drink was barely lukewarm and had just a faint hint of coffee. I doubt she even used the proper amount of espresso for a large.

I brought it back, and she poured half into the steel jar, frothed it again, and put it back into my cup. Still no words—no “sorry,” no “let me fix it,” nothing. When I sipped it again, it was still lukewarm. Overall, just pitiful.

I briefly considered bringing it back a second time because it’s disappointing to waste $9, but I didn’t want to deal with people who clearly don’t know how to do their job and have no manners. I ended up tossing it just two blocks away. Not worth the calories if you’re not enjoying it. I won’t be returning.

I’m rarely ever one to leave bad reviews, and it’s unfortunate that this is one of those times, but this marks the first time I’ve ever experienced such a bizarre lack of basic manners, let alone customer service skills, from not one, but two staff members in a row at any establishment. When I greeted the cashier, he didn’t respond, so assuming he must not have heard me, I repeated myself as I stepped closer to the register, and again, weirdly, no response despite mutual direct eye contact until I started ordering. I got the Laird Superfood Mocha, but when it was handed to me, that same cashier, who also prepared it, presented it to me as a “matcha” despite what it said on the label. Weird lack of acknowledgement a third time when I said thank you as I left, and I wouldn’t have given what I thought was a slip of the tongue earlier during the handoff a second thought, but the beverage itself looked super light in comparison to the photo (in other words, nothing like a mocha) and had zero taste of coffee or chocolate. I went back inside after tasting it on the way out, and said “excuse me” to another staff member behind the counter, twice, raising my voice a second time when it became clear she was on a personal phone call. I said that I ordered a mocha but it tasted like a matcha. She replied “no, it’s a mocha,” eyeing the label, as though I couldn’t read and seemingly unconvinced by the fact that my drink was barely darker than straight up milk. When I turned away from the cup to her to follow up and elaborate, she’d already turned around and resumed her phone call. No “can I help you with anything else,” no “have a good day.” And a fourth time I went completely unacknowledged when I audibly said “thanks, have a good one” as I headed out the door (I should note that they were not in the middle of taking or preparing orders while this was happening).

And on top of all that, no one behind the counter was wearing gloves, except for the staff member on the phone call who was wearing a single one. Bare hands definitely went into the ice box.

Still weirded out by the rude vibes. It’s clear from other reviews on here that management desperately needs to train their staff in basic politeness and give them a raise. Because otherwise, the drinks aren’t even worth coming back.

Note: I mistakenly posted this review earlier under the Bryant Park location, which I've since deleted.
