Service is nice — the staff is super friendly. The location and atmosphere are great. But for $12 you get a breakfast sandwich that has ONE egg and they put cold cheese on it so the Sandwich is half warm half cold. I get that profit margins are tight in food service but it’s nyc and it’s the simplest thing to make well. They also use fake syrup for the pancakes. If I want Mrs butterworth on pancakes there are plenty of standard diner options nearby. If you want a good atmosphere and friendly people then this place is great. If you want to pay these prices for a nyc staple that is so much better in any street deli then that’s your prerogative. If a place gonna charge these prices make it worth it. Use real maple syrup and more than one egg. You can get a BEC on an awesome bagel down the street for $8-10 with 3-4 eggs and the whole thing is HOT. I ate my meal and have a rule against sending food back or making the staffs job difficult. It’s not their fault the owners don’t give them the resources to make good shit

I ordered an egg breakfast sandwich, the one with bacon and avocado, and a latte. The sandwich was wonderful, I was surprised how tasty it was and how fresh were all the ingredients. The latte unfortunately was a disappointment, both bland and bitter. The last Bluestone I went to, which was next to the midtown bus depot, my latte was amazing, one of the best I ever had. Though it's not obvious, you can sit and have your takeout order near the front entrance, dine in is in the back area.

My experience here was confusing, the ladies at the bar were mediocre at best and their mess was noticeable but thankfully there was a server, Allan, that made the experience better. He led me to a table and took care of me well, he gave a great dish recommendation that I look forward to eating again, all thanks to him. 2 stars for bar service but 5 stars for him.

DO NOT ORDER TAKEOUT! I order a spiced chicken wrap and a Queensland bowl to go. Once I walked home 15 minutes I opened the bag just to see that the Queensland bowl had no chicken and the wrong dressing. To charge $18 for a salad and have these issues is ridiculous. This isn’t a simple mistake this is a careless employee. I used to go here all the time because I do love their food but after this plan on taking my business elsewhere where.

In this location the coffee chain has good food, good coffee, service and good atmosphere. But in others of the same chain in NY the same thing does not happen. This is the best. Good area, very pleasant to walk

Place was a nightmare — my utensils were not washed properly and neither was the napkin given to me. I got the athlete's burrito and it was utterly bland and overpriced. Would not recommend.

Just like home. Have been here in NYC for 8 days and this is the first good, no Great coffee I've had here. The food reminds me of going for bunch on a sunny morning at any inner city cafe in Melbourne. If your from Australia, pop in and grab a coffee and enjoy the complementarity Tim Tam #TimTamSlam. 😎
