Exorbitant price for not much

Standards sliding? Bluestone was my go-to for the many years I lived in NYC. Their gluten-free baked goods were fantastic and so fresh. Bluestone used to be the best matcha latte in the city. Visiting 5 years later and they’ve obviously cut some corners as they grew …. the matcha is not as good as I remember, and the banana bread was hard, dry and tough to eat.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free, Dairy-free

Bluestone Lane Coffee Shop at Astor Place provides a welcoming ambiance, excellent service, and delightful coffee selections. It’s a top choice for a cozy coffee break in the heart of the city.

The wait time is horrendous. Sometimes you have to wait for 20 minutes to get your coffee.

Missing item. The number listed is no longer in service, obviously a scam. No way to call to resolve this, so I pay for something I didn't get. That is theft. Too bad as there are many other legitimate places that don't steal from their customers.

One of my favorite go-to coffee shops. The coffee is fresh and unbelievably good (if you know you know). The staff is friendly and they have a great food menu if you need a quick bite to eat.

This review is for the location by 41st off of 8th Avenue in NY (Times Square). The first time I went there, it took me almost 30 min to get a small bite. The second time, I was trying to use the app to activate a free simple coffee, and basically waited almost a full 20 min, when I finally walked to the register to ask what was the delay--they said they forgot! Then I looked on my app, and noticed they actually charged me, when they were supposed to "comp" me! never again going to this horrible coffee place, the staff there are incompetent and don't even want to be there.

As an Australian I was disappointed when I got an Iced Milo from Bluestone Astor Place. It was extremely tasteless, watered down milk. When I asked for more milo, they took my drink away rather than just adding the milo to my drink ontop (as you do with milo). They then proceeded to tell me that they have to water the milo down first. As a cafe that claims to be Australian, I would have expected them to know that milo does not need to be watered down- you can just add it to the milk. They then added it ontop after I insisted it doesn't have to be watered down, but it still was tasteless. Bluestone Lane on Greenwich Ave does it much better. I recommend going there instead.
